I lost my husband on October 19, 2011 and my dad on April 17, 2011. I pray for their souls and all the souls in purgatory. If I didn’t “find” GOD again, I’d be totally lost. I am so grateful for directing me back to Him. My comfort is with him.

O God, the Creator and Redeemer of all the faithful, grant to the souls of Thy departed servants the full remission of all their sins, that through our pious supplications they may obtain that pardon which they have always desired, Thou who livest and reignest world without end. Amen.

V. Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord.
R. And let perpetual light shine upon them.
V. May thy divine assistance remain always with us.
R. And may the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.

Amen

Our Father, which art in Heaven
Hollowed be thy name
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done
On earth as it is in Heaven

Give us this day, our daily bread
And forgive us our trespasses
As we forgive those who trespass against us

Lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from evil
Amen

Oh, my Jesus
Forgive us our sins
Save us from the fires of hell
And lead all souls to Heaven
Especially those in most need of thy mercy
Amen

Hail Mary, full of grace
The Lord is with thee
Blessed art thou amongst women
And blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus

Holy Mary, Mother of God
Pray for us sinners
Now and at the hour of our deaths
Amen

Glory be to The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit
As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be
World without end
Amen

Please remember the son of a dear friend. David was only 52 years old. He died suddenly, after suffering a heart attack, on Monday. David had recently retired from the police force after 30 years. Please keep David’s family in your prayers.

(David’s father preceded him into eternal life, having also suffered a heart attack. David’s father was dean of the philosophy dept. at St. Mary’s College, Moraga, CA.)

Eternal rest grant unto David, oh Lord. And let perpetual Light shine upon him. May he rest in Peace. Amen.

May the souls of all the faithful departed rest in peace. Amen

Lord, we pray you comfort his family, mother, and siblings, with the promises of the Resurrection. Amen.

Oh, my Jesus,
Forgive us our sins,
Save us from the fires of hell,
And lead all souls to Heaven
Especially those in most need of thy mercy.

Amen

Please pray for Shiela B, a former co-worker of mine who died today. She had leukemia. She was young and leaves heartbroken her boyfriend and her mother… May God have mercy on them and bring them solace & comfort.

Eternal rest grant unto Shiela, O Lord. And let perpetual light shine upon her.
May she rest in peace. AMEN.

My Papap (grandpa) passed this morning. He was a sweet man. Funny and a devoted catholic. When I saw him and knew his soul had moved on, I felt more peace than anything. No more pain for him. No more suffering. I know he is with God. I want to pray for him and can’t get him off my mind. I will miss him so much.
