Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death
Amen.

O gentle Heart of Jesus,
ever present in the Blessed Sacrament,
ever consumed with burning love
for the poor captive souls in Purgatory,
have mercy on them.

Be not severe in Your judgments,
but let some drops of Your Precious Blood
fall upon the devouring flames.

And, Merciful Saviour,
send Your angels to conduct them
to a place of refreshment,
light and peace.
Amen.

†…Eternal rest grant upon them
And let perpetual light shine upon them
May they rest in peace…†

In memory of my Grandfather & Grandmother who taught me to live
My Tia kathy who taught me how to cook.
Tia therisa who taught me how to sew
My uncle Dennis who is STILL teaching me how far love goes for a child.
My friend Sarah who taught me to appreciate the little things
My Georgie who taught me unconditional love.

Your lives here were short.....but not forgotten.
     Ti amo.....

Absolve, we beseech Thee, O Lord,
the souls of Thy servants,
from every bond of sin,
that being raised in the glory of the Resurrection,
they may be refreshed among the saints and elect.
Through Christ our Lord.

Amen.

Prayer for the Dead

God our Father,
Your power brings us to birth,
Your providence guides our lives,
and by Your command we return to dust.

Lord, those who die still live in Your presence,
their lives change but do not end.
I pray in hope for my family,
relatives and friends,
and for all the dead known to You alone.

In company with Christ,
Who died and now lives,
may they rejoice in Your kingdom,
where all our tears are wiped away.
Unite us together again in one family,
to sing Your praise forever and ever.

Amen.

O Lord, Who art ever merciful and bounteous with Thy gifts, look down upon the suffering souls in purgatory. Remember not their offenses and negligences, but be mindful of Thy loving mercy, which is from all eternity. Cleanse them of their sins and fulfill their ardent desires that they may be made worthy to behold Thee face to face in Thy glory. May they soon be united with Thee and hear those blessed words which will call them to their heavenly home: **“Come, blessed of My Father, take possession of the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.” **

O my Jesus,
forgive us our sins,
save us from the fires of hell,
lead all souls to Heaven,
especially those
most in need of Thy mercy.

Amen.

A Prayer for the Forgotten Dead

O merciful God,
take pity on those souls
who have no particular friends and intercessors
to recommend them to Thee; and who,
either through the negligence of those who are alive,
or through length of time, are forgotten
by their friends and by all.

Spare them, O Lord,
and remember Thine own Mercy,
when others forget to appeal to it.
Let not the souls which Thou hast created
be parted from Thee, their Creator.

May the souls of all the faithful departed,
through the mercy of God, rest in peace.

Amen. :crossrc:

It was You, O God,
Who commanded us to honor our father and mother.
In Your kindness have mercy on the souls of my parents,
and forgive them their sins.
Grant that I may see them again
in the brightness of Your everlasting glory.
I ask this through Your Son,
our Lord, Jesus Christ.

Amen.

My Jesus,
By the sorrows Thou didst suffer in Thine agony in the Garden,
In Thy scourging and crowning with thorns,
On the way to Calvary,
In Thy crucifixion and death,
Have mercy on the souls in purgatory,
And especially on those that are most forsaken;
Do Thou deliver them from the terrible torments they endure;
Call them and admit them to Thy most sweet embrace in paradise.

Amen.

Jesus, for the sake of the agony that You endured during Your fear of death in the Garden of Gethsemane, at the Scourging and Crowning, on the way to Mt. Calvary, at Your Crucifixion and at Your Death, have mercy on the souls in Purgatory and especially on those who are completely forgotten! Deliver them from their bitter pains, call them to You and embrace them in Your Arms in Heaven!

O my Jesus,
forgive us our sins,
save us from the fires of hell,
lead all souls to Heaven,
especially those
most in need of Thy mercy.

Amen.

Oh Lord. Through the immaculate heart of Mary, Your Holy Mother, pour out your graces on all the souls in Purgatory. In particular, Jack, my brother, Francis a good woman, and Armando a good man. Purify them, and bring them to the light of your presence. But thy will be done and not mine.

O God, the Creator and Redeemer of all the faithful,
grant unto the souls of Thy departed servants
full remission of all their sins,
that through the help of our pious supplications
they may obtain that pardon
which they have always desired.
Thou Who livest and reignest world without end.
Amen.

Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord.
And let perpetual light shine upon them

Oh God, Almighty Father. We offer the souls of your children who have left this world especially for those in purgatory. May You, Oh Lord in Your loving mercy forgive them their sins and accept them into Your heavenly kingdom for the sake of your son’s sacrifice on the cross of Calvary. Me make our prayer in union with the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary and all the saints through Your son, our Lord, Jesus Christ.
Amen.
