For the repose of soul of my Aunt Erma who passed away Tuesday. And for her 14 children who were with here when she died…God is good and Aunt Erma was an amazing woman. May she rest in peace. The funeral is today.

Please pray for the repose of the soul of my neighbor Simon who died Yesterday morning, 4/26/2007. He is survived by his wife, Suzie, at least one son and I don’t know who else.

He died after a 15 year battle with Parkinson’s. Those of you who remember John Paul II’s battle with Parkinson’s will know how devastating this disease is.

O Lord of unutterable Love, remember Thy servants who have
fallen asleep.

Your Brother in Christ, Michael

I remember my grandmother had parkinsons for about 15-20 years before she passed away.

My post is for my mother, who passed away 7 years ago this August. She was a wonderful lady, very spiritual and loved God. She was diagnosed with diabetes at 10 yrs old and that led to further complications later on in life (kidney failure, amputation, etc) She was only 48 when she passed away but she left a loving and lasting memory on those who were fortunate enough to have met her. I miss her but I believe she is in a better place.

I also want to make this post for Fr. K’s mother who passed away. She had several children, two who became priests and were able to administer the sacrament of anointing of the sick to her before she died and I know Fr. K & his brother were happy to be able to do this. We’ve had several masses offered for her but I wanted to do this as well.

I post this in rememberance of my much loved and missed mom, Carmen. Mom courageously and quietly fought breast cancer for five years, never complaining but feeling instead that it was a small thing she endured as Christ endured much, much more pain and suffering.

Mom lost her battle on December 18, 2004 with her children, husband and grandson by her side, singing and praying. I miss her dearly and can hardly stand not seeing and talking to her but know she is with me always. Everyone who knew mom loved her and feels her absence. The florists in our town of 35,000 ran low on pink flowers the week mom passed as everyone sent them for her funeral.

As I said, I know she is with me always but she is still missed every hour, minute and second of every day.

In Memory of my Mother-in-law, who would have been 97 years old today. She was a wonderful Christian woman. We miss her still.

It’s almost 2 years since I started this thread and it was in memory of my mother. So on this Mother’s Day 2007, I fondly remember my mother and hope you do as well!👍

Hello All,

I want to remember Jesusa Baez passed (05), Sixto Baez SR. (99), Sixto Baez JR (00), Elieda Rivera (99), and Narciso Dejesus ( 89). They are missed by both of the families The Dejesus, and Baez families.

We hope that they have traveled to our heavenly father. :heaven:

:signofcross:

Love always,

Gladys

Thank you God for giving us a chance to build a beautiful memory of our mother, my brother in law and my nephew. It is not easy for us and we miss them a lot, but we all know for sure that they are not feeling the pain anymore and that you welcome them to your heavenly kingdom.

Lord, please shine Your face on my parents who left this earth (Dad in 1991 at age 56 and Mother in 2001 at age 66). Thank you for gifting me with wonderful parents. Many times I need both their advice regarding my own son (only 10 now), so I lean on them for intercession as well as your Mother, our Blessed Lady. She has offered me much consolation and support through You.

May they be resting in eternal peace with You.

I love you!
DS

I would like to dedicate this thread to my Late Grandma,my Dad and my lovley niece(she was one year old and baptized when she returned to the Lord).
My dad died of cancer when i was 15. i really miss him a lot.now that i grew up,i realise there are many things i cud have shared with him if he were still with us.

My beautiful niece died when i was away from home… how difficult it was for me when I got the news five months later when i went home for my vacation… she was our lovely little angel.

And My grandma left us few months back… it was a similar case with her… she died just oone month after i came home for vacation…i was beside her bed when it happened She was the sweetest of all, meek and humble…and a really devoted Catholic, though she was converted after she married My Grandpa(She was the first Catholic in her family)…

for these reasons… everytime i go home now im haunted with these memories… i love them so much and that is why i cant get over what happened so easily…

so i would like to request everyone reading this thread to please pray for them… thank you…

Today would have been our 43rd Wedding Anniversary, my Dearest…I miss you so…:gopray:

I would like to pay tribute to my dad. He was the #1 NY Yankees fan. He loved them no matter how good or bad they were. I grew up watching the Maris/Mantle duo. Dad never made it to a live game( I AM NOT driving in NY traffic!) But I can bet right now he’s playing poker with Billy Martin ( GD it Billy! They are playing like a girls HS team!) But he loved them all the same. Hey Pop, they aren’t doing too bad !

Love,
Kathy

Let us pray for the soul of WWE wrestler Chris Benoit, his wife and son, who were found dead in their home.

Today , the Mass intensions will be for my mother Bernadette Patrick. Thank you mom for your leap of faith. Tim

For Jim Swanson, a good man, who passed away Sunday.

For Bill & Sue Switzer, the best parents anyone could have.
