For the repose of my Mother-in-laws (Shirley Maurer) soul who went home to God on 2 Oct 2007.

Remember and pray also for a tragic suicide in the case of a blog member’s friend. Our Father who art in heaven. Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and foregive us our trespasses as we foregive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Amen.

After a long struggle with prostate cancer, my brother Konrad died Saturday morning at 7:30 AM EST. He died at home with his wife Debbie, and two sons Matthew and Kane. His funeral services will be held this Thursday and Friday.
As we used to be a family of ten that moved all over the country, it will take a few days to collect for the services. I look forward to seeing all of my family this next week…these days it usually weddings or funerals. I prefer the weddings.

I know he is in a better place with my brother and mother and father that went ahead of him.

He, his family and I want thank you all for your prayers. God bless you all.

Eternal Father, I offer You the Most Precious Blood of Your Divine Son, Jesus, in union with the masses said throughout the world today for all the Holy souls in Purgatory, for sinners everywhere, for sinners in the Universal Church, in my own home and within my family. Amen.
 
I’d like to dedicate this post to Francis Tokarski, my Great Grandma. She survived both her husband and son and was a beautiful soul. She just died a couple of months ago. Her sweet and caring nature and her total love of God and Mary have been a huge witness to me, especially as I’ve started drawing closer to the Catholic Church.

Eternal rest grant unto her O Lord
Let perpetual light shine upon her
May Francis’ soul and the souls of all the faithful departed
Through the mercy of God
Rest in peace. Amen
 
We take our human burdens, including the sorrow of lost love ones, and join with our suffering Christ on the path to Golgatha. Most of the people gathered there contribute to the Savior’s pain but when his gentle gaze falls on us we are filled with the infinite hope of salvation. And Veronica wipes the torn face of God.

Our Lady of Guadeloupe pray for the departed warriors of Christ’s Church, especially those mentioned here. Also remember the unborn and elderly.

Almighty God you created all things from nothing and every thing and person that is, is from your hand and all of your creation is good. Thank you God for everything.
 
Almighty God, Please have mercy on the soul of our daughter, Barbie, who past away in her sleep from an over dose of prescription drugs. And please, Jesus have mercy on my soul for being such a bad parent of my children!

Oh! Gentle warrior of peace. Pain was the price of our salvation and freedom. Our small pain is joined with yours, remembering our lost loved ones.

Lost cetainly to us, but the bright promise remains, as in death you destroyed our death. And rising you restored our life and all those remembered here. We rise and reach for your mercy for all. Especially during the month of November; we pray for the rising up of all your children. Praise, glory and thanks be to God.
 
It will be two years on the 12th jan 2008, that my mum passed away into gods arms,i miss her so much, mum wasn’t only a parent she was my best friend, she was 83years of age when she passed, people say “Well she was a good age” as if that will make me feel better, i go to the cemetery every Sunday with flowers, and it is the same every time i go it’s like her funeral all over again, i miss my mum so much, she was a wonderful person,not just to her 6 children but to all around her,

Please remember all of your souls mentioned here. Remember, my dear God, my family, my wife’s family, our friends and acquaintances and all who are detained for purification; especially during the holy month of November, beginning on All Souls Day.
 
I love everything about this thread…it is so beautiful!!! I came across it on a very fitting day. I would like to pray for the souls of three incredibly special men. My husband has an aunt that is a very special woman. My husband adored her and her husband!!! Jim passed away in 2001. Gloria went home for her class reunion the following summer and met up with her “high-school sweetheart”. They were later married and I was in awe of how she had married 2 such wonderful men. Her second husband passed away this morning and I am devastated for her!!! The conselation for me is that both of those men are home with Jesus and they are together with my husband that passed away in 2002at the age of 43. It is so hard to do it once but twice has to be almost unbearable!!! Please pray for all of them and God Bless you!!!
