I would like to dedicate my day today for all the departed in Purgatory, especially those who have no to pray for them.

Eternal rest grant unto them oh lord and may perpetual light shine upon them.

Today is the anniversary of my father(John’s) birth.
December 28, 1923 - September 19, 2002.
I pray for his intercession and his prayers for me on this day.

Edward on the right, is honored in memorial by me on December 19 and my grandmother Mary.

What a beautiful thing to do.

May their souls, all the souls of the Faithful Departed, through the Mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
 
Repose of soul of my Step Grandson Christopher, who died Sept. 29th and would have been 23 years old today.
 
In memory of my husband Larry, who passed away on the 19th of December and we buried him on Christmas Eve. May his soul be led to heaven and that we (3 daughters and I) be comforted and feel the Holy Spirit’s presence as we go through these times of trial, and sadness.

Thank you God for having let us share a great life with him.

I’m so sorry for your loss. Your family is in my prayers.

For my uncle Robert R. who was buried this past Friday December 28th.
 
Just remembering my brother, who died in 2005, and my mother who died in 1986.

I will say a prayer for all of the people who have posted in the past few days who have buried a loved one this month, right before Christmas.

Hail Mary full of grace the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary Mother of God pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death Amen.

This is for a lot of people I miss. Daddy, Father Mulligan, my Godparents, my grandparents, many friends and my daughter’s Godfather, “Uncle” Rob.

Turn, O my soul, into thy rest: for the Lord hath been bountiful to thee.

Beautiful - your beautfiul offering of your day for the departed - particularly those who have no one to pray for them…I do the latter often. These are my regularly offered prayers for the deceased.

Eternal Father, I offer Thee the wounds of Our Lord, Jesus Christ, to heal the wounds of our souls. My Jesus, pardon and mercy through the merits of Thy Holy Wounds.

O agonizing Heart of Jesus, have mercy on the dying and on the souls of the faithful departed, especially those most abandoned and forgotten, those who have no one to pray for them, those souls mentioned here, those most recently arrived in Purgatory, for my relatives, family and friends and in particular - for my mother. I ask these things, O God in Heaven, by Thy Divine Grace and Mercy, through Our Lady’s intercession and in the name of Thy DIvine Son in Heaven.

Eternal rest grant unto them and let perpetual light shine upon them. May they rest in peace. Amen. May their souls and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Please pray for the repose of the soul of Kim M., 33, who died of cancer this past weekend. She is survived by her husband and 3 young children.

Condolences on this young soul. May her surviving family find the blessing of God’s peace and the ability to carry on.
 
Many prayers and Mass intentions said for Kim M. and her family now and throughout the year ahead. May God Bless them abundantly. May Kim rest in peace with Christ in Heaven.
 
Please pray for my father who died last night after a long battle with drugs and alcohol. He was given last rites, which was a great comfort to both him and my family. He lived a hard life, and has left a lot of pain in its wake. I struggle to forgive him for all of the things he did over the years, but now it’s up to God.
