my post is for my father HERBERT WILLIAM TIARKS who
died shortly before Thanksgivig ten years ago. his death was
quite a shock, and we still hurt.****
 
My post is for my Grandfather, John Whitby-Smith, who died nine months ago. Please join me in continuing to pray for his Soul.

May his Soul and the Souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
Eternal rest grant to them, O Lord.
And let perpetual light shine upon them.
Amen.

Please pray for the soul of Sister Mary Caroline, fsp
who passed away on March 19th at the Boston
Provincial House of the Daughters of St. Paul. She
was ill for only a short time; but had lived a fervent
religious life for 60 years. In fact, it was on her 60th
Jubilee that she went to meet her Spouse!
May her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed
through the mercy of God rest in peace. Amen
 
please pray for the soul of my beloved daughter Anne who was taken from us suddenly in a car crash ,my angel was 19yrs young
 
Great thread! This is the way I want to grieve my dad’s passing. His name is Mr. Seeley and he was born June 26, 1932 and died on October 3, 2008 about three weeks before I married the man of my dreams. About a month before he died, he told me he would be at my wedding. Well, he was, spiritually. I know he had a front row seat. The last voice he heard before he died was my then sweet future husband’s who told my dad that he would take care of me. I know that helped my dad to pass in peace. I am being taken care of by a wonderful man and I am grateful that my dad gave me away to him just before he died.

May his soul and all the souls of the faithfully departed through the Mercy of God rest in peace.

By the way, my dad had a wonderful sense of humor and I know I have received that from him. Plus I will never forget our special bond and how he we walked hand in hand not only as a little girl, but as a grown woman. He taught me how to pray and to love the Church. I love you dad and miss you, but I know you are praying for both my husband and me and all of the Seeley’s and my husband’s family.

For all the dear departed spouses - whose absence is felt each and every day. May God grant us all the blessings of being reunited together with Him forever. This we ask in the Name of Your Son, Our Lord, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Patricia Ann, beloved wife; dear mother, grandmother, great-grandmother; fond aunt; bosom friend. May she and the souls of all the faithfully departed through the mercy of God rest in peace.
 
In loving memories of my mother:

She came to the states after the war…leaving her large Catholic farm family to marry my father who loved her ways. She helped him back to a Christian faith but helped him be new in Catholicism. (He had fallen away from once being Lutheran.)

Later in her life, she said she thought dad made a better Catholic than she did!

They raised 5 children in the Catholic faith…only to have 3 of them quit. Mother and dad intercede each minute now in behalf of their children’s souls. Please pray for theirs. May they find the peace only God can give! And may we all.
 
My great-aunt who died a year ago. Just found out yesterday. She was the only relative of my mom who associated with us.
 
I find it so sad that relatives quit each other. My niece, Julia, has quit her father. I know she feels she must shut him out completely in order for her to keep “entertaining” without feeling the sin in her soul.
When my mother died in January, I felt her final wishes were for all her children to stay close to each other and to help each other out … financially, spiritually, in what ever ways we could find. Persisting in this challenge is way more difficult for some than others. My family lives far apart from each other and speaking out in truth is hard without offending somebody. I ask your prayers for me especially in this endeavor. PLEASE…s’il vous plait (French, my mother’s native tongue.) 😉

I will pray for you and your family someday will be united. In the mass I go everyday ,I will remember to pray for you. Also , Could you pray for my spiritual mother who got a big stroke, she perelized haft body and can not talk anymore. Please, pray for her too. I believe we are the Communion of Saints God will hear our pray.
