In loving memory of my father, Harold W. Ray, who sang like an angel here on earth, so I can only imagine the wonderful melodies he sings before the Lord now. I love you, Daddy, and we all miss you. “Hark the Harold Angel Sings…” 😉
 
Jesus, Son of Mary,
Lord of life alone.
Here we hail Thee present,
We who are Thine own.

Think O Lord in Mercy,
On the souls of those,
Who in faith gone from us,
Now in death repose.

Rest Eternal grant them,
After weary night.
Shed on them the radiance,
Of Thy Heavenly light.

Loving God please have mercy on the souls of all our dead;
and grant support and comfort to their bereaved relatives and friends.
Loving God please have mercy on the soul of my husband’s Uncle Wybie,
and comfort his remaining sister.

Dear Lord today is the birthday of Beverley mother of Kirsty and Danielle.
Since her death in 2003 they have both suffered so very much.Please forgive
Beverley her sins and grant her soul eternal life with You in heaven.Please watch over
Kirsty and Danielle and guide them and help them.Surround them with Your love
and grant that i may be able to show them love and help them as You would wish.

My momma, Maxine Anita…I miss her strength, her sense of humor, her unconditional love though I tried her patience many times.

My grandparents, Jasper Lee and Geraldine Elizabeth…for giving me a love of the Church and Her beautiful traditions, for being such wonderful examples of Christian love and also for putting up with me with so much patience and LOVE… I miss Grandpa’s no beating around the bush honest opinions and his devotion to the Sacred Heart. I miss Grandma’s “bony” shoulder to cry on when I was upset, her elegance, and her unwavering faith in our Lord and Lady.

Last night, I was pondering how to post my 10,000th. on CAF. Maggieodae already posted a rosary thread for my mother who would have been 84 years old today. Twenty-Two days after the last birthday she celebrated, our mother died of cancer.

Originally I wanted my 10,000th. post to be the starting of this thread and I wanted EVEYONE to share in it by making this thread a memorial thread for those who you remember fondly, whether it is your parents, siblings, spouse, friend, teacher…whoever!

You can post as much or as little as you want about the person (depending on how private or public you want to be about your departed loved one: I will be using my mother’s maiden full name). My posting can be used as an example.

My Uncle Vince Dobley passed away at 3 AM Saturday. He was in his 80’s and was like my grandfather.

Remember the faith of those who mourn and satisfy their longing for that day when all will be made new again in Christ, our risen Lord, who lives and reigns with You forever and ever. Amen.

Dear Lord i am shocked and saddened by the sudden death of my friend Nick.I do not know how he died he was only in his 40’s but i ask you to grant him eternal life and comfort his dear father Bill and his wife children and sister and nephew who will greatly mourn his loss.He died yesterday and i have only just found out.Dear Lord please help this family Amen

It does take a while, but I have finally accepted it as a GREAT TRUTH that I will see my mother who passed away three years ago once again in God’s kingdom. I know it because all of a sudden I have started to become anxious for it.

If you’re not there already, I sincerely and whole heartedly pray to God you will soon realize you will see her soon. In Jesus’ Name. Amen. :highprayer:
 
Please pray for the souls of Carl Edward Shubert, Sr. and Luke Newman. They have passed away and I hope they are okay. I love them both so much…and appreciate any prayers for them.

may live in safety from terrorism.Please comfort his family at this deeply sad time.
