For my grandfather, Ray. He died 10 years ago.

And for the many others remembered here.

O God, the Creator and Redeemer of all the faithful,
grant to the souls of Thy servants
departed the remission of their sins, that,
through pious supplications,
they may obtain the pardon
which they have always desired.
Who livest and reignest with God the Father,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
world without end.

Amen.

For my mom, Karen, who died unexpectedly in her sleep at the age of 52, Dec 11 2009.

Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death, Amen.:signofcross:

Eternal rest grant unto them OH Lord and let your light shine upon them and may they rest in your peace…Amen.
Eternal Lord we also pray for the families in grief and we ask that you conmfort them in their sorrow. We know that all is possible in Jesus’s beautiful name.
Amen.

GraceAngel.

For my friend, my support, my confidant, Conrad Gardner, who was too young to take leave of the world when God decided it was his time. His twenty years on this world were just too short for us. He will be missed.

Conrad Gardner
1989-2010

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and may perpetual light shine upon him. Amen.

My feeling is the Holy Spirit inspired this prayer. Thank you Holy Spirit. In Jesus Name. Amen

I would ask for prayers for the tragic death of my nephew, who took his own life at age 18 and for his father, my brother, who is suffering the greatest loss these past 6 months.

I have hope, especially this Easter Day of the Resurrection that because Jesus died for all our sins, Justin will find comfort in His loving arms.

May Yahweh bless both both your nephew and brother with unimaginable peace. May He be glorified by their hope in His Omnipotence and unimaginable Goodness. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.:gopray2:

Dear Lord Jesus,

We pray for Justin.

Lord, you know his soul, you made him, he is Yours.

Lord, in a moment of desperation blinded by despair they departed from us.

Please, Lord by the merit of Your cross and resurrection, humbly we ask for Your mercy.

Have mercy on their soul, and help their family and friends.

Heal them from this deep wound and sorrow.

Only You, the Healer, can restore them and make them whole again.

Amen.

Lord our God, You are always faithful and quick to show mercy. (Justin) was suddenly taken from us. Come swiftly to his aid, have mercy on him, and comfort his family and friends especially Justin’s father and Denise’s brother who are suffering greatly,by the power and protection of the cross. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Safely Home

I am home in Heaven, dear ones; Oh so happy and so bright!
There is perfect joy and beauty
In this everlasting light.
All the pain and grief is over,
Every restless tossing passed;
I am now at peace forever,
Safely home in Heaven at last.
Did you wonder I so calmly
Trod the valley of the shade?
Oh! but Jesus’ love illumined
Every dark and fearful glade.
And He came Himself to meet me
In that way so hard to tread;
And with Jesus’ arm to lean on
Could I have one doubt or dread?
Then you must not grieve so sorely
For I love you dearly still:
Try to look beyond earth’s shadows,
Pray to trust our Father’s Will.
There is work still waiting for you,
So you must not idly stand;
Do it now, while life remaineth—
You shall rest in Jesus’ land.
When that work is all completed,
He will gently call you Home;
Oh, the rapture of that meeting,
Oh, the joy to see you come!

When a Young Person Dies

Lord God, source and destiny of our lives, in Your loving providence You gave us (Justin) to grow in wisdom, age, and grace. Now You have called him to Yourself. We grieve over the loss of one so young and struggle to understand Your purpose. Draw him/ to Yourself and give him/ full stature in Christ. May he/ stand with all the angels and saints, who know Your love and praise Your saving will. Amen.

God, lover of souls, You hold dear what You have made and spare all things, for they are Yours. Look gently upon Your servant (Justin), and by the Blood of the corss forgive his sins and failings. Remember the faith of those who mourn and satisfy their longing for that day when all will be made new again in Christ, our risen Lord, who lives and reigns with You forever and ever. Amen.

Last month my loving wife lost her dear Mother - and I lost the dearest Mother-in-Law to me for the past 40 years. I still have her phone number in my cell phone where I would call her at least once a week. The idea of removing the number is just too painful at this time.

O, Lord, look with favor on all Your Faithful Servants who have departed this world in Your Friendship. Grant that we all may be united together with You for all eternity. This we ask in the Name of Your Resurrected Son. Amen.

God bless

Tom

My heart and prayers go out to all those asking for prayers. Please know that your families and your departed ones are in my prayers daily. Please keep me and mine in yours. I know that it can be hard to pray when we are in so much emotional pain so I consider it an honor to stand in prayer with you. God bless you all.:console:
