Is it possible that there is some unknown force or evil that has not been revealed to humans that caused sin to enter satan thus causing him to fall?

God is omniscient–how could it be unknown? That would be against His nature.

This is all conjecture anyway, as we’ve no way to know.

It would seem there would be no need for another force of evil. A choice was made; positing another force reduces or eliminates the the choice, reducing the devil to a guiltless entity.

There is lots that is unknown to us, especially concerning evil. It is so overwhelming that we just do not know enough.

Sounds like you are suggesting a “good God” and an “evil God” and that Satan lacked free will and was instead made to fall.

These ideas are heresies of the first centuries and rejected by the Church.

I was not suggesting an Evil God for God is good, for him to be evil is not possible.

That is not what 1ke said. He said you basically seem to be positing both an Evil God and a Good God. As in, 2 Gods. Read it again.

Ok I see what you mean now. But I was not aluding to another God. What I was aluding to was that he could have been talked into it by another angel and freely chose to reject God. That unknown force I was talking about refered to an angel. But then again that angel would have been thrown out of heaven with him anyways. Again this is sort of speculation.

I think it is wise for me to get away from my own speculation and go with what the Church says because the Church will always be truthful in its teachings.
