Hello ladies and gents:

I just wanted to say that this forum is a blessing in disguise.👍 If I had not come to these forums I would have never learned about NFP and that birth control is a sin. I would have been ignorant. I would still have a sordid view of how the family life should be. I fought many of you verbally tooth and nail :cool: and you guys were right (some of you may have put me on your ignore list:blush: I was really obnoxious). Since I have been using NFP I have discovered that I have not ovulated for 6 months(No, I am not pregnant) I would have never known this information had I not practiced NFP. I would have still been using the BC Pill(which I did not know was a abortificant, till this website) to treat my symptoms of PCOS. In reality, the pill would not help me to be more fertile. I am almost done with RCIA and I will be joining the rest of you guys as a full practising Catholic. I am so excited :extrahappy: To all of the people on this forum who were informative, merciful, patient and kind, here’s to you :flowers:

Awesome! And I concur! I just found this forum last week asking about vasectomies and the like, and was steered in the right direction as well. We are also continuing our practice with NFP.

How wonderful that you now know more about your body than before. Congratulations on your RCIA and upcoming Sacraments! I graduated from RCIA last Easter and was baptized. It was so beautiful!
 
I had a really hard time too. Putting faith in God is difficult at first, but then you begin to feel the Holy Spirit within and it makes it all worth while.
