The Fatima Prayer Help Wanted

I have at least two publications which list the instructions on how to pray the Rosary. Both books do not insert the Fatima Prayer after the Gloria Patri prior to the announcement of the first mystery.

Today, online I came across a rosary by a Catholic website that does close the introductory prayers with the Fatima invocation.

To include it would be an act of charity; on the other hand, I would be adhering to an established form of prayer.

What do you think?

Is there an established authority which has the definitive say-so on the inclusion/exclusion of the Fatima prayer at the end of the introductory prayers?

In short, no. The Rosary is a private devotion and thus no-one can or does have definitive say on what prayers may be included between or after the decades. Even John Paul II’s ‘Luminous Mysteries’ are not mandatory.

Many prayers are and can be added between the decades (such as one I hear often around here - “O Sacrament Most Holy, O Sacrament Divine, all praise and all thanksgiving be every moment thine”) and at the end - including but not limited to the Memorare, the prayer to St Michael the Archangel, the Litany of Loreto.
