The Final Judgment will be on May 21, 2011

The fact is that no one, NOT EVEN THE SON, knows when the end of the world will occur. Does this, in any way, limit the power – the Godliness – of the Son and the Holy Spirit (because ONLY THE FATHER KNOWS)?

NO. Because the Son says (along with the Spirit): “I WILL TO FORGET!” Jesus wills to forget, and puts the end of the world in His POTENTIAL WILL (Voluntas Potentia), not in His WILL IN ACT, or ACTION (Voluntas in Actu). He keeps it hidden from Himself until it actually happens. If this seems like a labyrinthine riddle, conundrum or anomaly, it is not.

“My ways are not your ways,” says the Lord. He can do whatever He wants, whenever he wants.

To say that the world will end on May 21, 2011 is absolutely ludicrous!

On a personal note: I believe the world will come to an end on the day my jam sandwich lands jam-side-up on the kitchen floor.
:rotfl:

These stupid end of the world dates got so old, so quick.

Anyways though, I cannot find the verse now, I believe it may have been in The Book Of Psalms, that said something to the effect… something like, ‘the righteous do not seek the end of time’ or ‘the wise do not seek the end of time’ or ‘the wicked only seek the end of days’… it went something like that. Does anyone know that verse? I remember reading, thinking it would be perfect for these lame evangelicals running around with Bibles in their hands yelling ‘the end is near’. Of course, now I can’t find it. Right when I coulda used it. Lol.

This whole thing reminds me of the old Weekly News of the World, that used to be at the supermarket checkout counter. I remember seeing one that predicted the imminent end of the world. On the inside was a subscription form for up to three years. I suppose that there is something to be said for making a living out of being wrong.

Hey Guys,

Let’s not make fun of others belief. I personally know and experience Christ’s presence in my life, and while it makes no difference to me if the end of time is tomorrow or the next thousand years, I don’t make light of the fact that I love Jesus, I want him in my life, I trust in him, and if it happens May 21, then I want to be ready. I know no one can predict this, for it is God’s decision when it will happen. Therefor I can just pray and trust in him and know him as the loving Father he is, in spite of my human weakness. I want nothing more than to be safe in the arms of Christ. Others believe in the literal word of scripture, I think we need to not make light of it, and I will simply wait for my savior to return whenever that is.🙂

That’s according to Harold Camping, the founder of the Family Radio broadcasting network. I happened to hear this prediction while driving to work this morning.

Needless to say, I think it’s baloney. Just thought I’d share it.

.
This Camping guy…didn’t he notice that the world already ended in 1914?

I hope the world doesn’t end on May 21st. If it did I’d miss a new episode of Doctor Who!

If you truly believe the world will end on May 21st, please transfer all you land titles and property to my name effective May 22.

Thanks!

That is just hysterical!!!

You mean there are actually people outside the UK that watch that!!? 😛 I’m a Star Trek, Star Wars, X Files, classic sci fi geek and I wouldn’t watch Dr. Who! 😛

Doctor Who has been on since the 60’s, and you don’t know what you’re missing it’s so wonderfully nerdy! I’ve never watched more than a few episodes of Star Trek myself; I fall on the Star Wars side of the Star Wars vs. Star Trek rivalry.

I just told my mom that the world will end on May 21st. She didn’t know about it.

She smiled and said, “Well, I’m gonna be in Disney World at the Grand Floridian then so I’m sure it won’t be all that bad.”

what part of “no ones knows the day or the hour” do these people not understand??? 😛
I have wondered that myself It says it so clearly in scripture that one knows the day or hour not even Jesus only God the father.

I adore Star Wars but Star Trek is infinitely more cerebral, more extensive, bigger universe, and deeper in concept. I love the mythos of it, the characters, and it’s a fact that Star Wars ripped off so much from Trek! LOL…I’ve met a bunch of the original cast and some of next generation , too. I’ve actually been to a couple of conventions—earned my geeky nerd badge already thanks! 😃

I came to love Star Wars in 1977 when I saw it at the theatre and was only a couple years old, wowed myself into oblivion!

Sorry, but I have to work. Maybe it can all happen after we finish the surgeries for the day. on second thought, why do them at all???.

I guess that the NHL will not have game 4 of the Western Conference playoff or the Stanley Cup playoff. But I’ll still say Go San Jose Sharks.👍

Reminds me of a guy I used to work with who proclaimed since the day he came to work “Their gonna shut this place down!”

Thirteen years later, they shut the place down.

Sooner or later someone’s gonna be right. Maybe we should have a computer-pick style lottery.
