Lift Up Those Who Have Fallen

Holy One, you are our comfort and strength
in times of sudden disaster, crisis, or chaos.
Surround us now with your grace and peace
through storm or earthquake, fire or flood.

By your Spirit, lift up those who have fallen,
sustain those who work to rescue or rebuild,
and fill us with the hope of your new creation;
through You, our rock and redeemer.

Praying for all those who were in the building when the fire began and praying for all
the fire fighters and police and emergency workers.

Also that this brings about safety changes and justice for those in tower blocks as I understand this building had reportedly had safety issues for some time and nothing was done and this might also affect other buildings.

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, o Virgin of Virgins, my mother. To thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. Praying for all the desperate people trapped, the injured, and the emergency services.
 
O Lord, may the casualties from this
fire be kept to a minimum, bind up
wounds, heal the burns, the scorched
lungs, may the rescuers be able to
locate those who are trapped, Merciful
God.
