Are they any documents of the very first liturgies?
If not…what are the earliest liturgies recorded?

Some like the Didache, St. Clement, St. Justin the Martyr, Apostolic Constitutions by Hippolytus and Apostolic Traditions by Tertullian and the Didascalia, give us some insight.

In the book "The Mass of the Early Christians"By Mike Aquilina,
He sites a lot of sources, just as Br. Rich SFO listed in the previous post . Mike starts with what we can learn from scripture, what the Church fathers said, and what the Romans said against the Church. It is a pretty good book.

awesome yall. thanks for the help. so this brings me to my next question…
who where the first people to do away with the liturgy? and why did they do away with it?

The move away from liturgical celebrations started with Zwingli and Calvin. Henry the VIII and Luther retain Liturgical worship as did Wesley for the most part.

They moved away from Liturgy because it was too Catholic for them. Their focus was not on Sacramental forms of worship any longer but on Scripture and praise worship.
