This is so easily refuted. Doesn’t even require any recourse to history, only logic.

If Pope Rotten XIII wanted to support the consumption of fish, he wouldn’t just prohibit the eating of meat, he would require the eating of fish.

But that never happened. Duh… :rolleyes:
