I am reading a small book I received in the mail called “The Flame of Love.” It is the diary of Elizabeth Kindelmann who was born in Hungary.

The diary is a compilation of conversations that Elizabeth had with Jesus and Our Blessed Mother.

Is anyone familiar with this new “Cause” - The Flame of Love"?

I have that booklet. Someone sent it to me about twenty years ago. I found it strange when I read it. What do you think about it?

The conversations with both Jesus and the Blessed Mother are strange. It could be the translation from Hungarian to Spanish to English; but I don’t know.

Jesus seemed so demanding and overbearing; and then there were the conversations with Satan.

I would hope that someone who knows more about this would respond to my post.

Where did the book come from, and who published it? Was there a return address? Did you order it, or did it just appear?

It was a free book offered by *The Children of the Father Foundation *in Drexel Hill, Pa. It was copyrighted in 2013 by the organization.

The Imprimatur: Archbishop Charles Caput, Archbishop of Philadelphia.

A contact web site would be: wwwMyConsecration.org or www.FlameofLove.org.

According to the back cover of the book it states that - Heavenly communications by Our Lord and Our Lady were given to Elizabeth Kindelmann from 1961 to 1982 and these communciations are contained in this diary.

The book I received was only a small portion of the complete diary. Elizabeth Kindelmann did not claim to have had visions of Jesus and Our Blessed Mother; just the feeling of their presence and conversations.

At the National Congress of The Flame of Love of The Immaculate Heart of Mary in Budapest, Hungary on June 6, 2009, Cardinal Peter Ergo, Archbishop of Esztergom-Budapest, Hungary and President, Council of Episcopal Conferences in Europe, gave it his Imprimatur.

I am only seeking help in understanding the diary and the message that it appears Our Lady is trying to put forward.

So does anyone know anything about this? I came across this post about adding something more to the hail Mary on Facebook and I’m not finding much of anything from other sources when I Google about it.

Hello - I was given a booklet on this as well in 2011. I read through it and started into some of the prayers. Seemed really powerful. I left the book in the US and now I am overseas.

Mark Mallet quotes on these writings on his blog (post is July 5, 2014):

markmallett.com/blog/the-new-gideon/

I just started reading it, prompted by an online Catholic friend. Very interesting.

snip:
PREPARING THE REMNANT ARMY
It must have seemed crazy to Gideon’s men—300 of them against tens of thousands of the Midianite armies. So too today, Our Lord is inviting us to totally abandon ourselves to Him. To trust completely in His plan as the world of pagans begins to vastly outnumber the little remnant. More than that, He is asking us to cancel out our will in order to live in the Divine Will. This is the great plan He has entrusted to Our Lady—to bring us to the point of our own personal fiat such that it draws down the Holy Spirit and Jesus within us, which is really the reign of His Kingdom on earth in us.
We certainly are living in interesting times!

Peace,
Mimi

An Imprimateur does not endorse the message. I believe that it only signifies that the writings are free of doctrinal errors. I have a problem with the supposed messages that Our Lady asked us to change the words of the Hail Mary. Also that there were no apparitions just supposed visions of Jesus and Mary.
Does the Church have any official statement regarding these writings?-]/-]

My dear parish priest knows Elizabeth Kindelmann’s confessor and said the message is 100% legitimate.

I have just finished her book and find her far more believable than Patricia Devlin.

Are you saying that Elizabeth Kindleman’s confessor has made your parish priest aware of what she said in confession?

Then what are you basing your comment on - you said your parish priest knew Elizabeth Kindleman’s confessor and you implied that because of that relationship he is saying the message was 100% legitimate.

Well, perhaps this Hungarian priest was also her confessor. She spoke to several priests outside the seal of confession regarding the Flame of Love. Or, perhaps I shouldn’t have said he was her confessor, but perhaps an adviser. I am not exactly positive of the relationship since it was about a three sentence conversation I had with my priest amidst a large group of people.

the next time I see him, I can ask for clarification.

Archbishop Chaput’s imprimatur surprised me.

How old is your priest or her confessor??

She died almost 30 years ago and she was in her 70’s at the time. He couldnt have been her confessor for any length of time.

I apologize for starting an old thread again, but I wanted to continue the discussion.

I too am looking for information regarding this private revelation. If anyone has more information, please let me know.

I haven’t read the whole book but a resume of this book. I read Sister Faustina agenda and both message seems the same.

It appeared to have been approved by the church.

Yes, Jesus seems demanding, but he also says pick up your cross and follow me. He has the same standard for all saint, to renounce to the self and follow him with our cross.

On the other hand, i am far from a Saint but since in the bible we are asked by Jesus to be perfect as his father in heaven is perfect, therefore Holiness is for everyone. I think we need to put our trust in him. He knows our limits and we will never be given more then we can handle. Sometime i wonder from my so many fall.

Falling constantly is quite me and not counting struggling with fasting, vigil and so many things but in Sister Faustina Journal, Jesus says that he doesn’t reward for success but our loyalty and perseverance.

So let’s not get discourage but trust. We can certainly start with prayer and little sacrifice.
My favorite prayers are the Rosary and the Divine Mercy which i try to say at 3pm or when i see an ambulance.

I am looking forward to read the big book of Elisabeth Kindelmann, i totally loved the little booklet that i read.

God Bless!

I have read excerpts from the book and have ordered it for friends. While we are not required to believe private revelation we are permitted. I can attest that saying the 3 Hail Mary’s with the “Flame of Love”, prayer inserted has given me great peace at trying times. As promised. The only warning I have is that it can be awkward while saying a group rosary! Save it for private ones🙏
