That is a document which was released by bishops in England, Wales and Scotland. It actually made it on the news about two-three years ago with the infamous headline “Catholic Church no longer swears by truth of the Bible.”What is THE GIFT OF SCRIPTURE? I’m unfamiliar with the document.

That document was issued by a group of local Bishops and not by the Pope or the body of Bishops led by him; thus, it can only have the teaching authority of the fallible Ordinary Magisterium, not of the infallible Sacred Magisterium.Was THE GIFT OF SCRIPTURE a Vatican approved document?
