with all this discussion about Islamic beliefs, we need to realize something!!! They dont worship our God. Allah is the moon god of the African tribal religion of Islam. Islam started on a bad foundation when Mohamed concocted it in his Arabisan cave near Mecca> thats why its so troublesome these days, and will be more trouble in the future. Lets face it Moslems need to be rescued from their evil religion. how I dont have that answer. But dont look for things to get better.
 
this topic’s been beaten to death and the claim has been proven to be false, not to mention ridiculous.

Ive studied it on my own. and who proved it to be false? ITS PRETTY COMMON KNOWLEDGE TO ME. defending islam will be the doom of the western world if it keeps up. when I have my thoughts along with my knowledge written on paper so I can post it here in a orderly manner Ill easlily prove Islam’s eveilness and end this nonsense of defending it once and for all.
 
Perhaps you might want to read what the Church has actually said about the faith of Islam.

My son-in-law, a Christian from Lebanon who is fluent in Arabic, assures me that Allah is the Arabic word for God. Yes, I believe Mohamed was a false prophet but I do not believe Muslims worship a moon god or any other god other than the one true God. Their perception of him is flawed, IMO, but it is the same God we worship. There are enough real differences and problems with Islam without phoney charges such as this.

Just my opinion, which along with $2.75 will get you a cup of coffee at Starbuck’s.
 
My priest gave a great homily awhile back where he stated that regardless of if you are a creationist, a supporter of intelligent design or a proponent of evolution you are studying the same reality and that reality is the creation of God. Claiming Muslims, or Catholics for that matter, worship a different God or gods is not based on the truth that there is only one God.

Lance, I can’t stand Starbuck’s, but I like your post! 👍

as i said, run a search and you’ll see that this topic has been beaten to death and the claims been proven false.

the Quran itself contains this verse: “and from His signs are the night and the day, the sun and the moon. do not prostrate to the sun, nor to the moon and prostate to Allah who created them if you worship Him alone.” (41:37), which in and of itself is enough to prove the claim ridiculous and false.

I dont think youve studied Islam… or atleast you havent studied it from its own sources or from asking a Muslim. The first major sign you havent studied Islam is claiming we worship the moon (or ‘moon-god’). Secon major sign is claiming that Islam is an african tribal religion, even though the Quran is in the arabic language and attaches itself to the messages of the previous prophets of God. So i dont know where youre learning from, cause right now youre learning about a totally different religion from the looks of it.

I advise you to take a wiser approach in how you study other religions, Islam or other than Islam.

P.S. its Muslims, not ‘moslems’.

seing Im being debunked all over the place by islam apologetics its time to answer.
first . in Mohamed’s time there were 3 religions that had roughly equil memebers around mecca at that time. Judiaism, Catholicism, and animism. Mohaqmed took parts from all 3 to concoct his religion. old testement from the jewish tradition. the catholic bisho of mecca at the time was teaching that jesus waS NOT THE SON OF gOD. He took that.
and gave God the name of the animist mood god.
allah being the arab word for God come from Islam. remember religion influences language.
The fact that the bishop of Mecca was a heritic is enough to give Islam a bad start.
with Islam causing 95% of all current wars, spreading terrorism throughout the world, its at our own perril we even think of defending this very evil religion.
in recent times its only moslems that have flown planes into buidings or beheaded people. I dont see any other religion prepetuating such terrible violence as Islam. why anyone would defend such a religion is byond me.
