Because what radical islamists want to do is radicalize the rest of the muslims against us, all muslims countries are priming their kids for this from youth. You should watch the 12 minute clip from it.

No thank you. Simply because what the Pope wants takes precedence for me over what you or radical islamists want. And what the Pope wants is that we behave charitably and peacefully. Eternal life is not in your approach. My odds are better with the Pope. 👍
 
I too will act peaceably towards them, but I know what they are up to. The pope isn’t asking us to ignore the fact that they are stirring violence against us. It would be hugely foolish of us to simply ignore this and let them destroy western civilization, and the pope isn’t asking us to do that. We have to be aware and ready.
 
The Pope isn’t turning a blind eye to them, either, for that matter. How many times recently has he called for them to stop persecuting Christians in Muslim countries? Jesus said to love your enemies, not have any. By just sitting back and letting radical factions destroy Western civilization, you are failing in your Christian duty. We have an obligation to defend Christianity. I’m not saying we become Christian terrorists and blow up mosques or put all Muslim citizens in internment camps, but we need to be aware that there are Muslims out there who want our entire way of life destroyed. We need to be willing to fight for Christ, to die for Christ, and if necessary, be forced through a fine mesh screen for Christ.
There is such thing as a just war and protecting our children from swordpoint conversions definitely constitutes just cause.👍

Yes. One needs to be informed of the actions of one’s potential enemy. That does not include watching Hollywood movies that focus on only the violence. Why? Knowledge of one’s enemy is prudent. Watching fantasy developed for profit that inflames the emotions toward hatred or fear is merely sinful. So in MHO your link to your hollywood trailer is of the second category not the first. What makes you think people need a double dose, if not to foster hatred?

Please let me get this correct: Was Paul a pagan or a blaspheming Christian when He wrote that there were many gods and lords in the world? Do you really believe that Paul was a hidden polytheist?:

1 Corinthians 8:5-6 If after all there are so-called gods, whether in heaven or on earth (as there are many gods and many lords), yet for us there is one God, the Father, from whom are all things and for whom we live, and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things and through whom we live.

How will you comment on the verse above?

I believe I already did. But I will reiterate. There is only one God. Just as St. Paul says. Yet, people keep claiming the Muslims have another one and he is apparently powerful as they are afraid of the violence he will unleash.
This is incompatible with Christianity as we profess the existence of only one God. I am unwilling through other’s clever manipulations, to entertain the idea that there is a second god.
We as Christians cannot claim a second God. That is blasphemy. The Muslims and anyone else can say what they like, but for Christians to claim that the Muslims have a God that is different from ours is simply blasphemy. Ours is the only in existence. If the Christians on this board want to claim that the Muslims have a different understanding of the one God, that would be correct. But to make the claim that their God is different from our God is to say that in fact there are two Gods.
That is my comment.

But why are you reluctant to accept that all the so-called gods of other faiths are false gods whereas the God of the Bible is the only TRUE God? I hope that will make our comments closer to St. Paul’s. 😉

I hope so too. Because I am a Christian therefore there are no other so called gods, false or otherwise. Get it yet? There is only one God. I refuse to accept the existence of any other whether or not they are false.

I would have to question your motives as to why you are pushing me to accept the existence of other gods whether or not you label them false?

The answer is simple: Because St. Paul confirms their existence 😃 Do you claim to know better than the best theologian of the New Testament epistles? Paul says there are many gods and lords for other people, but only ONE true God and Lord for us Christians! Consequently, Allah is the god of other people (Muslims), not mine or ours!

Go on believing in Allah as well as Buddha, Zeus, Amon Ra! Since there is only one God that really exists, all these names refer to the same Creator, the God in our Bible! I, on the other hand, keep saying “LA ALLAH, ILLA YEHOVAH; LA ALLAH, ILLA YESUAH!” AMEN.

Tequilamac this is not a hollywood film it is a documentary on the attitudes of many muslims, how they are brainwashing their children to hate us, the attitudes of their governments media and religious officials towards the west. Sorry johnnycatholic. I have to do what I see the Pope doing. Everything else is irrelevant to me as far as any action I take goes. Peace. Spreading fear and hatred of Muslims is not something the Pope is doing. But it is a democratic country and you are free to do what you like. But the Church is not a democracy and most of choose to take our cues from the Vicar of Christ. 👍

The god of Islam is Satan. That’s who gives the beast it’s seat, power, and authority. Does that help? My error for not using quotes around the word “god” when used in reference to who Muslims believe they worship.

Yes indeed. And by whitewashing Islam all one does is disservice to Christians and Muslims. We should be trying to save them, not encourage them to remain in Islam. Or pretend that it is just another road to the Lord.

I will not say that Islam is another way to the Lord. I will not say it is not, however I believe that Jesus is the way therefore I believe Christianity is the only way, yet Muslims can be saved if they follow God correctly. The God of the Muslims is the God of the Jews and Christians, most especially the Jews. There is no other Creator than God. Muslims believe and worship the same Creator, unless there is another? The way they serve him sometimes is not the way God wants to be served, but it is the same God.

It is Satan, not God. Sorry but this is a reality. Not only from Bible prophecy but from the murderous nature of this beast against Christians and Jews for the last 1300 years with hundreds more killed every day - TODAY.
