Someone should probably inform Pope Benedict that he is not supposed to be facing the faithful during the consecration since it is so obviously destroying belief in the real presence. Oh, and someone should have informed Blessed John Paul II also.
Having got that bit of sarcasm out, some of the things that Cardinal Ranjith is trying to do are very good in my view. As for the rest, I would prefer he left them alone. Quite honestly, I blame poor catechesis and general trends towards secularism and relativism in society for doubt regarding the real presence far more than I blame communion in the hand or which direction the priest faces during mass. Not that I have a problem with communion on the tongue, I just donāt see it as the root of all evil that others seem to here on CAF.
Having said that, it is only my opinion on the matter.
