Just for your info, I have been found by the Good Shepherd again and brought back to His Church!http://forum.catholic.com/images/smilies/ani/ani_dancing.gif

After Confession last night for the Advent gathering with a bunch of priests, I was absolved from the terrible “crime” I committed about leaving the Church. What fool like me would even think of doing such a thing? Never, ever again would I do that!

I left Confession with joy and tears and knew I had been brought back to the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church! http://images.bravenet.com/common/images/smilies/hyper.gif

Oh, btw, I went to my first Daily Mass this morning!

What can be better than being found by the Good Shepherd?http://forum.catholic.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

Now I want to love our Lord MORE than ANYTHING!!!

That was the right thing to do - to talk to your confessor.

Take it slow and easy. God doesn’t work in minutes or days. He works on us for a lifetime. If things are getting overwhelming, it is a good time to think about talking to one’s confessor, pastor or spiritual director. It can be many things, from normal spiritual dryness and doubts that happen along the way, or from overloading oneself.

Well, I realized that without our Lord, it’s IMPOSSIBLE to live in a sense and also you’re wandering around spiritually like a lost lamb or something and it’s scary and terrible without a Shepherd! I was also a “fish in an ocean who couldn’t find their way Home” [images.bravenet.com/common/images/smilies/fishy.gif](javascript: void(0)😉
I can understand why sheep NEED a shepherd! And also, you tend to sin more without the Lord! [images.bravenet.com/common/images/smilies/19_indifferent.gif](javascript: void(0)😉
I also realized BIG TIME that we ALL need Him in order to persevere!

I’m just thankful I came back! I think the majority of it was because I was trying to do all this at once and when couldn’t do it, ended up failing and giving up.

Thank goodness again that “sunshine” came back [images.bravenet.com/common/images/smilies/sunrise.gif](javascript: void(0)😉
