The new Islamic Mosque proposed to be built at Ground Zero in New York is to be called “Cordoba House”.

Cordoba is the Islamic Caliphate that conquored Spain and ruled it for 500 years.
 
McCarthy:

States there was a 2007 Poll done in several Islamic countries.

In response to questions such as do you believe it is OK to destroy Israel, do you believe it is OK to attack Americans in Muslim counties, and would you want to live under strict shria law, 2 thirds and higher (depending on location, over 80 percent) voted yes.
