The Church’s ultimate trial

675** Before Christ’s second coming the Church must pass through a final trial that will shake the faith of many believers. The persecution that accompanies her pilgrimage on earth will unveil the “mystery of iniquity” in the form of a religious deception offering men an apparent solution to their problems at the price of apostasy from the truth. The supreme religious deception is that of the Antichrist, a pseudo-messianism by which man glorifies himself in place of God and of his Messiah come in the flesh.

**677 ** The Church will enter the glory of the kingdom only through this final Passover, when she will follow her Lord in his death and Resurrection. The kingdom will be fulfilled, then, not by a historic triumph of the Church through a progressive ascendancy, but only by God’s victory over the final unleashing of evil, which will cause his Bride to come down from heaven. God’s triumph over the revolt of evil will take the form of the Last Judgment after the final cosmic upheaval of this passing world.

I say the antiChrist must be Jake99, come here to sow confusion and divert us from his plan of global domination. Notice how he cleverly surfaces when Starrs has questions about Revelation and then changes the topic. Starrs, there’s stuff the antiChrist doesn’t want you to know.
 
I used to think the Great Rapture and Tribulation, or is that the Great Tribulation and Rapture?, was just a big hoax put forth by Protestants. Now that Hillery is going to be President in 2008 I think it might just come true!😉
 
All of you are on the wrong path and following GW Bush or the Clintons is like feeding Satan. Not one of the worlds leaders has transformed chaos and complexity into peace and prosperity. In fact they are the most destructive, wasteful and inefficient leaders ever to walk the earth. They specialize in cheating, lying, stealing, failure to provide and killing which is the anti to what Jesus recommended and what I have done. All of your leaders combined have not been able to do the things I do every day. I love the US, its their operating systems that go against the ways of Jesus that I dispise. I hope to overthrow GW Bush by peaceful means in the near future and prevent the Clintons from committing any more crimes as well.

Judge me by what I have done and compare it to what your leaders have done, and its a no brainer who the Christ is. GW has started a war that will never end and I have stopped wars that will never again begin. And according to vast amounts of documents and witnesses there has never been a leader as successful as I, not even close.

Golly, do ya think it just might have something to do with fallen human nature? See, I believe in original sin: therefore, I expect world leaders to be flawed like everybody else (to varying degrees, of course).

Ohhhh–kaaayyy…I see by your profile that you’re experienced in the “bakery industry”. Ahh, so you personally stopped the Great Dough-Boy Wars of '62, or the Flour-Power militant groups poised on the verge of nuclear holocaust?

I managed to turn chaos and failure into peace and prosperity everwhere I went. High speed bakeries are full of robotics and computer assisted machines not to mention people from all over the world in the largest unions and companies in the US. I had no problem fixing all the problems permanently and I never got a complaint. I dont give you reason to complain and the system works the same way every day. No one ever pointed to me and said I was anything but a terrific leader because I dont make mistakes very often and no one works too hard. It got to the point where I had hundreds of people working for years without making an error, that is how simple the fastest bakeries on the planet operated after I redesigned them. GW Bush and the Clintons could not run a Koolaide stand.
 
Ok can we stop talking about Bush and the Clintons being in cahoots with Satan and get back to the topic at hand namely the book of Revelation. If you want to talk about Bush, Clinton and Satan Jake99 start your own thread.
 
The Great Tribulation has been a war that has been going on in the courtrooms of Massachusetts since 1998 between your leaders and the Messiah. Your leaders have yet to win on even a point of view and the catastrophies that have happened since rejecting Christ are the result. GW Bush’s seven years are coming to an end soon. He and the rest of your leaders do exactly what Jesus said not to do. The world has been voting for the Anti Christ since the beginning of time, let me know when you are ready for the simple and fair operating system Jesus proposed.

As I stated before Jake99 we are not talking about Bush or Clinton or this being Satan’s world here. We are talking about the Catholic Churches views on the book of Revelation STAY ON TOPIC! If you want to debate this do it in your own thread do not hijack mine. Continue to do this and I will report you this is your last warning!
 
Things I know include the part in Revelations where John the Apostle talks about the two witnesses. The bible doesn’t say who they are. Many Church fathers and approved prophets believe that Enoch and Elias will return from Paradise to preach the gospel. They are said to be in a lower level of Paradise. Enoch to the gentiles and Elias to the Jews. Other approved prophecies of the Church state that the AntiChrist will have them slain. Which after Christ will raise them up from the dead, and the AntiChrist stung by this news tries to emulate Christ ascending into heaven. But Christ himself will come and the AntiChrist along with the false prophet will be cast into hell. Then after that everything will return to normal. This information comes from approved prophecies by Cure of Ars, St. Hildegard, ect.

The pope can never be the AntiChrist and St. Bellarmine makes that absolutely clear.
 
What about the seals, trumpets and bowls will those things actually happen?
