Have you seen this (2012) movie? I just checked it out on Netflix. It felt like the director was aggressively attacking your faith.
It was a very existential film. The wolves were more of a metaphor of an unrelenting force that could not be escaped. I won’t spoil the ending, but it wasn’t about a negative force winning, but an affirmation of life, whatever the circumstances. If you wish to elaborate, that’s fine by me regarding spoilers.
But that’s not a movie I would watch.
As an environmental scientist, I know that wolf attacks in North America are very rare and most of them happen in unusual or dubious circumstances.
I also know how the movie ends, and it kind of fits the modern trend of a negative force winning.![]()
I did not find that to be the case, and I don’t recall what in the film might make you think that. I imagine there were some people who prayed but were soon killed by wolves? I don’t remember any particular group or category being favored as far as being spared or being killed through the course of the movie.Have you seen this (2012) movie?
