Will Islam eventually become the dominant religion in Europe?
I keep hearing reports that Islam is growing in Europe. This seems to be especially true in countries such as Germany and the Netherlands. There are plenty of videos on YouTube to verify this fact.
However, I am not sure that Islam is growing as fast as its own adherents would have us believe. Europe is mainly a secularised continent and I see secular humanism growing faster than any religion.
That being said, Islam does seem to be attracting converts who previously identified themselves as Christian. It would seem that Islam is attracting far more non-religious Europeans than Christianity.
Why do so many people appear to be accepting Islam in favour of their traditional faith in Christianity? And how will this effect the Catholic Church in Europe?
