My suggestion that it was an ‘American problem’ rather than a ‘European problem’ was about the perception that there is a serious problem in the first place.
Hundreds of millions of the really nice people who recently brought the world such gems as ‘Shoah’ and ‘Liquidation of the Kulaks as a Class’ have a few Muslims around - a tiny proportion of whom might prove to be a problem.
Meanwhile, groups of American conservatives, many of whom would be hard pressed to find Europe on a map, never mind name more than a couple of European countries get terribly excited about it on a message board.
Whose problem is it?
