The Host Fell

I’m an altar server and today during mass the deacon accidently dropped a consecrated host on the groun. I told him right away. What bugs me is that nothing was done to the spot where the host fell. Are they suppose to cleap up?:confused:
 
They should look for crumbs of the Blessed Sacrament that could still be lying on the floor. And maybe they should’ve cleaned that area with a purificator.
