Anybody familiar with this series by Suzanne Collins?
Is it suitable for middle schoolers?
It looks similar to Farenheit 451, social commentary about dangers of reality TV,
and the reviews are really positive,
but I can’t tell from the reviews if it’s too gory for a middle schooler.
 
I teach at a high school and we’re using it for our book club, which is exclusive for 11th graders and seniors.

Personally, I wouldn’t recommend this to middle schoolers. It’s more appropriate for older audiences.
