Anyway, tonight’s reason for staying up late is the 1957 film, The Incredible Shrinking Man, with Grant Williams and April Kent, since the Yankees already beat the Stale Hose.

Svengoolie is on 10 p.m. Eastern, on MeTV. Right after Star Trek (The Trouble With Tribbles), I believe.

I seem to recall that this flick is moderately entertaining. Gonna watch it with me?

“Moderately entertaining”? You must be funnin’. This is one of the GREAT classics among science fiction films! And there is a touch of poetry and spirituality in it as well. But of course you must know that. Thanks so much, svid, for the info. I’ll be watching!

I really enjoyed this one although I fell asleep long before the ending - about the time he was living in a doll house and got attacked by a vicious cat. Had a long day Saturday.

Okay, it’s good. It’s fun. Especially the doll house/cat scenes.

A lesser classic. That’s as far as I can go.
