After he first converted from Protestantism, he writes, he was unenthusiastic about this devotion. But then he realized it isn’t just the doll of a baby. He began to understand to understand that although Jesus had been a child born naked in a stable, at the same time he was the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords.
And too children around us are being sexualized, their innocence destroyed, he writes. “The Infant of Prague reminds us of Jesus’ own childhood–this infant king is a warrior against all the things that destroy childhood, innocence, freedom and joy.”
 
This was a great article. I also appreciated the comments of the innocence of our children being destroyed and also their childhood stolen.

Just today ,a few hours ago I held the image of the Infant of Prague and placed it by my children’s photos together with a little statue of Mary and asked them to protect them.
This article came in perfect timing to give praise and thanks.
These little coincindences always move me…
