Throughout the history of man, women have been living under social pressure and laws which degraded their humanity and quality with men. Men have not stood up for the rights of women, but they have had to take the rights and raise their own voice.
Today the Muslim world is waking up to such voices like that of Ayaan Hirsi Ali, Irshad Manji and most importantly Wafa Sultan.
It is my hope that more and more Christian women will join the battle for the freedom of women under Islam. They are caught in a prison within sharia-societies and within their own mind: they have been taught to justify violence and supression comitted against them in the name of a false god.
