Have you read it? It’s a commentary on the The Interior Castle by Theresa of Avila. This guy highly recommends it. (Father Blaise Czaja)

 
I just might !
I bought the recital of the book -
Could never get into it while driving and listening.
Put the CDs away, you could say.
Anyways, I remember reading along, listening,
to the cassettes, of Story of a Soul, by candle light.

I have a great candle, recently blessed,
just might revisit - this obvious classic book.
I know it’s one of top fifty religious books ever.

Been reading the entire Bible - again -
Have only about 10 books left or so…
This may be my April in-depth study.
 
Happens - every six or so years -
Some things are - well, boring, as you can imagine.
But knocking down book after book…
Week by week…making the time…
Some days putting in 4 hours…

Go ahead and laugh,
But I always wanted to hold the record
for the fastest time of reading the Bible.
I think it could be done in 4 days.
I’d have to have coffee, no sleep,
I wonder who has the record.
Someone has too 😛

I know the Interior Castle - will take me - at least 12 hours.
Imagine how long it took to write.
It has survived centuries !
 
You write like verse in poems
But I don’t see much rhyme
 
Anybody ever watch the Twilight Zone “ The Howling Man” ?
A guy shows up to a castle door during a storm…
It’s run by a handful of monks…
They don’t want the lost guy to stay…but he faints with exhaustion…
Well…it turns out…the monks…have captured the devil…
Not an easy thing to do…
You’ll have to watch it - if so inclined.
 
I actually just watched that episode a few weeks ago. Pretty spooky.
