Greetings,
I have been trying to build up a collection of quotes either from the fathers, doctors and saints of The Church or Popes and other Church documents that deal with the interpretation of The BIble.
What I am looking to compile is evidence that The Church has allowed for a non-literalist (fundamentalist version) interpretation of The Bible since day one. I know that St. Augustine mentioned it and St. Thomas.
So any contributions would be gladly apreciatd.
