Pax Christi!

Tonight we have a film from 1944: The Invisible Man’s Revenge!

A mad scientist (yay!) and an invisible criminal running around a mansion! Sounds like a party!

Join me as I enjoy Svengoolie on MeTV, 10 p.m. Eastern.

Silly fun, and probably very little makeup. It’s got John Carradine!

And check out the group, Svengoolie fans (link below).

God bless, and deliver us evil, seen and unseen!

I like The Invisible Man movies. Was Claude Rains in one of them?

Pax Christi!

Yup, he was Griffin, invisible and a madman, in the original 1933 movie.

God bless.

Inspired by more than based on.

The Claude Rains film was taken from Wells book and the sequels used the idea of invisibilty for their own stories.

not yout - your sense of humor.

I didn’t realize the movie was based on H. G. Wells books.
John Carradine is a great actor.
I agree about John Carradine. From the role of Aaron in The Ten Commandments to that of Brother Jerome in The Howling Man episode of The Twilight Zone, he always gave wonderful performances, with a voice eminently suited to Shakespeare.
