Among you - as in the unseen world of saints, angels as well as other unseen mysteries of God
Within you - as in our soul.
I understood that in Hebrew tradition the Messiah has to also fulfill some worldly tasks such as making peace on all the planet, rule the visible world in a wise perfect way. But Jesus said that the promised empire of God is not an empire that will happen here in this world but is in the unseen world.
The adepts of Chiliasm (belief Christ will come back and rule for a thousand years together with the sages before the world is judged) amongst Christians, still argue that eventually it will be a seen empire rules by Christ here on Earth. However the words of Jesus in the New Testament contradict this belief plain and clear.

Within you, if invited. This made me feel, it explained how the Messiah came to bring peace to His ppl. Individually, his ppl Israel, not the Nation of Israel.
But, I saw another translation that was a little different. HMMM
