Sorry if this has been discussed already - seems I recently saw a discussion on it within the forums and can’t locate the discussion this morning.

When Jesus said “This is my body” at the Last Supper, it became the first instance of transubstantiation of bread into His body, rather than when the disciples later began to celebrate the Mass?

Any links would be appreciated, and thanks in advance.

The Last Supper was the first Transubstantiation. St. Augustine said that Jesus carried Himself in His hands.
