Here i go again. So was Jesus able to hold His body and blood at the Last Supper because He is God and because the laws of time and space don’t apply to Him?
I vote YES.Here i go again. So was Jesus able to hold His body and blood at the Last Supper because He is God and because the laws of time and space don’t apply to Him?
Option 1:Here i go again. So was Jesus able to hold His body and blood at the Last Supper because He is God and because the laws of time and space don’t apply to Him?
I don’t understand your answer. You can’t give something you don’ possess
When did the bread and wine become his body and blood? Here i go again. So was Jesus able to hold His body and blood at the Last Supper because He is God and because the laws of time and space don’t apply to Him?
Your body, blood, and soul are present to you now. If you hold your earlobe then you are holding your body, blood, and soul. The bread and wine became the Body and Blood, soul, and divinity. Here i go again. So was Jesus able to hold His body and blood at the Last Supper because He is God and because the laws of time and space don’t apply to Him?
But was Jesus able to hold His body and blood because Hes God and the laws of time and space don’t apply to Him?Your body, blood, and soul are present to you now. If you hold your earlobe then you are holding your body, blood, and soul. The bread and wine became the Body and Blood, soul, and divinity.
“Make holy, therefore, these gifts, we pray, by sending down your Spirit upon them like the dewfall, so that they may become for us the Body + and Blood of our Lord, Jesus Christ.”
Modern Catholic Dictonary has for Transubstantiation: “After transubstantiation, the accidents of bread and wine do not inhere in any subject or substance whatever. Yet they are not make-believe; they are sustained in existence by divine power.”
Because divine power causes transubstantiation, not human power. Creatures are subject to God’s laws of nature. But was Jesus able to hold His body and blood because Hes God and the laws of time and space don’t apply to Him?
But is it because the laws of space and time don’t apply to Him?Because divine power causes transubstantiation, not human power. Creatures are subject to God’s laws of nature.
I would suggest that laws of space and time are irrelevant to God since they were created by God. From Moses and the burning bush that didn’t burn to manna from heaven; from the feeding of 5,000, to filling Peter’s nets; from the Virgin birth to the Crucifixion; from the Eucharist to the Resurrection. All of these events (and many, many more) show God accomplishing His goals independent of natural laws which tell us these things are impossible. And yet God does these things without adversely affecting creation i.e. space/time.But is it because the laws of space and time don’t apply to Him?
Then how did He eat His own body and drink His own blood? By His own divine power?I would suggest that laws of space and time are irrelevant to God since they were created by God. And yet God does these things without adversely affecting creation i.e. space/time.
Jesus said “take this all of you and…” Jesus didn’t partake of the Eucharist as Jesus is the Eucharist. Then how did He eat His own body and drink His own blood? By His own divine power?
Yeah but what about my question?Jesus said “take this all of you and…” Jesus didn’t partake of the Eucharist as Jesus is the Eucharist.
Jesus didn’t eat the Eucharist.Yeah but what about my question?
Some people argue that He did, including a tract I can’t find now, on CAF.Jesus didn’t eat the Eucharist.
