Agree completely. But I will point out that as a member of both sites, 10th Crusader’s postings seem to be purposefully baiting towards others. It’s not becoming of those who are attached (for any reason) to the Tridentine mass.
I think that is a fair assessment.

Well I guess it’s out in open now.

I don’t really need to comment because the threads speak volumes.
I personally would be ashamed if I had written some of that stuff, but I guess I’m just a typical unspiritual Catholic who attends the Novus Ordo. We can’t be the spiritual giants they are.
Quoted for the night crew.

I don’t like it when people from fisheaters come here to troll and and then discuss their progress on a special thread about CAF on their own forums. :takethat:
I agree. How very unChristian. 😦

I too live among hispanics in my parish. I am in the small minority of non-hispanics (about 20%). About a third of us speak English only, about a third (maybe less) Spanish only and bi-lingual people are the most common. We started a few years back using Latin in Mass on Fridays and one common Holy Days to come together in a single Mass. I think the OP has a valid point, though the use of the form is not what brings unity as much as the language. We have also had a joint seminar two years back on Gregorian Chant between the two languages and have incorporated that into the Masses. As we go on, this has given me the opportunity to expand both Latin and chant into other Masses.
It sounds like you have a good start! Latin can and should be liberally used in the OF, and would provide a common ground for the English and Spanish communities in a parish. I guess the difference is the EF is exclusively Latin, and the standard missals are already set up for common worship.

And how would you know if you haven’t been trolling the fisheaters board???
