Just this last Monday, I finished my final exam for my college course at my local campus. However, I also have a semi-self-paced online college course that I also need to on. (I mentioned it a couple of times on here in the past) I was hoping to get this course finished by May, but it now it looks like that’s not going to happen. Right now, I’m struggling with this one assignment in particular, because it involves me having to analyze this paper written by person who has a nasty liberal agenda, and it just makes me feel really irritated. I need prayers that I can deal with this paper, finish this assignment and be able to deal with other papers like this in the future as I finish my assignment.

Prayer for the Gifts of the Holy Spirit

Holy Spirit, Divine Consoler, we adore You as Our
true God, with God the Father and God the Son.
We adore You and unite ourselves to the adoration
You receive from the angels and saints.

We give You our hearts and we offer our ardent
thanksgiving for all the grace which You never
cease to bestow on us.

O Giver of all supernatural gifts, who filled
the soul of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of
God, with such immense favors, we beg You
to visit us with Your grace and Your love and
to grant us the gift of holy fear, so that it may
act on us as a check to prevent us from falling
back into our past sins, for which we beg pardon.

Grant us the gift of piety, so that we may serve
You for the future with increased fervor, follow
with more promptness Your holy inspirations, and
observe Your divine precepts with greater fidelity.

Grant us the gift of knowledge, so that we may
know the things of God and, enlightened by
Your holy teaching, may walk, without deviation,
in the path of eternal salvation.

Grant us the gift of fortitude, so that we may
overcome courageously all the assaults of
the devil, and all the dangers of this world,
which threaten the salvation of our souls.

Grant us the gift of counsel, so that we may
choose what is more conducive to our spiritual
advancement and may discover the wiles and
snares of the tempter.

Grant us the gift of understanding, so that we
may apprehend the divine mysteries and by
contemplation of heavenly things detach our
thoughts and affections from the vain things
of this miserable world.

Grant us the gift of wisdom, so that we may
rightly direct all our actions, referring them
to God as our last end; so that, having loved
Him and served Him in this life, we may have
the happiness of possessing Him eternally
in the next. Amen.

Prayed for your intentions…may the Lord’s divine guidance always be with you!

O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fountain of Mercy for us, I trust in You!

Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death, Amen.

Eternal Father, I offer you the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your Dearly Beloved Son, Our Lord, Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.

For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

The assignment in question is for a course in history, the paper here is attacking our ancestors and their mores, painting them all as narrow-minded bigots and such. I’m going to try praying for the souls of my ancestors every time I work on this and see if that helps.

In the meantime keep praying everyone.

Hail Mary,
Full of grace
The Lord is with Thee.
Blessed art Thou amongst women,
and blessed is the fruit of Thy womb
Jesus
Holy Mary
Mother of God
Pray for us sinners,
Now and at the hour of death
Amen

Our Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.
