I turned on EWTN during my lunch (today, Thu 6/03) and it was showing apparently an adoration of the Blessed Sacrament on the Solemnity of Corpus Christi in Rome. I didn’t notice whether the language was Italian or Latin because it was being voiced over in English. (Unfortunately, he didn’t provide the translation for every line, only about 3/4.) The response was the Greek. What I did notice was they were praying the The Litany of Peace from the Divine Liturgy.

Is this Litany a part of the Latin Church prayers? I assume the Mass itself, which I missed, was the Roman Rite. I’ve never heard The Litany of Peace prayed in a Latin Church before. I was so shocked and delighted to hear this Litany from our Divine Liturgy during the Holy Father’s adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. 👍
