Those with a particular devotion to Our Lady and the rosary might be interested to know that it was he who composed the Luminous Mysteries of the rosary back in 1957. It wasn’t until Pope John Paul II about 40 or 50 years later that they were introduced to the Church,

Me three. Even before JP2 promoted the Luminous Mysteries, I wondered why the Rosary jumped straight from Our Lor’s finding jn the Temple to His Passion with no mention of the important events of His ministry.I quite agree.
