Wow! I found the most beautiful pictures of real snowflakes… and I wanted to share them with you.

When I look at these photos… I can’t imagine anyone NOT believing in God. Just LOOK at the Divine Brilliance in God’s Creation! :extrahappy: These are natural snowflakes, just as they fell from God’s Heavens… but magnified. Hope you enjoy!

Sure, they’re beautiful as individuals when you look at them through a microscope. But when there are millions piled on top of each other on your driveway and in the roads, you get tired of them real quick.:winter: :snowing:

Just recently many folks around here have been commenting on the breathtaking views of snowcapped mountains to which we’ve been treated the last few days. Unfortunately, due to smog we can’t even see our lovely mountains much of the time, but they certainly are glorious right now!

Alas, I don’t have any pictures of my own to show you, but things like that certainly make us remember the majesty of our Creator, don’t they?

About a week ago, I was walking to my car after work and saw at least 10 flocks (or mini-flocks?) of birds flying in the typical V-pattern of migration, all heading northward with the approach of spring. Just as one ‘V’ disappeared in the distance, another appeared … one after another after another. I counted 10 'V’s and then stopped to just enjoy it. I stood there in quiet happiness, just feeling thankful that God allowed me to experience that moment, and watching his marvelous creatures following a path that only they could see, guided by His Hand.

“GracedUpon” I guess I’m looking at the beauty of snowflakes… through the eye’s of a native Southern Californian (where snowflakes are… rare ).

But they really ARE spectacularly beautiful, from a the standpoint of God’s Creation.

Hi “Morwenna” Thank you for your reply. I was born in down town Los Angeles… and grew up in Los Angeles country (Torrance/Redondo Beach)… and my cousins lived in the San Fernando Valley… so I’m well acquainted with the smog problem in the L.A. Basin. Eeeesh. There were days, when you could slice it with a knife and spread it on bread!

I can clearly remember (no pun intended ) the thrill of the occasional smogless day… and being able to view the mountains which surrounded us. There were even times, when we could see down town Los Angeles… from PV Peninsula.

I’m so homesick… yes, even despite the smog.
