Unfortunatley Moslems already are taught that Christians are liars.
true, of course those are the ones who go to some Islamic school in, like, Saudi Arabia or something. or ones who have fundementalist parents. But yeah they are frequently taught that. and the same about Jews. and pretty much any nonbeliever. Very unfortunate.

The play on words for Islam and Muslim is a tricky shocker

Islam actually means “To Submit”

Muslim meant “He who has submitted”

the “Peace” comes from (as there is no vowels in the written language,) is another different root word which looks similar.
I had heard the ones about “submission.” But I’ve never heard the root that means “peace.” I don’t suppose you could give me a source that you’ve read or seen this? I’m suddenly interested because I’ve never heard this, and its the kind of things my teacher would probably say in class if she knew it. lol.

Hi
Kindly refer to any good Arabic to Arabic or Arabic to English dictionary, and you would find many meanings of the root s-l-m including the meaning peace, and submission.
I have a small Arabic to English dictionary, its name in Arabic is al-Fried-dud-duriyya in English its name is Students Arabic-English Dictionary, First Edition, printed at Catholic Press Beirut Copyright 1955. It mention many meanings of the root s-l-m including peace, peaceful.
I hope it satisfies your query.
Thanks

The West, as I understand, due to certain disinformation has seen only MullahIslam or MullahShariah; the true face of peaceful and human loving Muhammad and his religion Islam and Islam of PromisedMessiahImamMahdi is yet hidden from their eyes, which is truly speaking moral and peaceful.

Or, just consult any dictionary giving the etymology of words
[Arabic 'islām, submission, from 'aslama, to surrender, resign oneself, from Syriac 'ašlem, to make peace, surrender, derived stem of šlem, to be complete; see šlm in Semitic roots.]

Islam means ‘peace’ when all have submitted to Al-lah. You can ‘submit’ to Al-lah’s will and go off to fight a holy war, thus you can have submitted to fight! (or in English we’d say “He’s resigned himself to the need to fight”)

As to morals, the morals of Islam include setting Muhammed up as the ‘ideal-type’ of man; one who’s example one can follow. And he had sex with a child. Some model of behaviour!😊

MontalbanHowever you may be talking of Association Football (aka Soccer) and I might be referring to Rugby League (go the Eels!). One would need to understand what both mean when using the same word.
To use the analogy of Soccer and League… It would really make more sense if you used a good team like The Warriors, rather than a 3rd rate Parramatta side… hehehehe.

Ok, so let’s see how mohammad was…

First off, a member claimed that muslims were persecuted out of their free will. And, what exactly does that prove? Every single 12 Disciples were persecuted, and all but John were killed by people. Not to mention that the early Christians went through a lot of persecution.

Also, ever heard of the Baha’i Faith? Well, the Bab had to watch 25,000 of his followers be killed. Also, they wanted to kill him, so they had a firing squad of 750 people and they shot at him. However, he did not die. All it did was made him loose. Then, he went to one of his disciples, and told him a few paragraphs of something to write, and then he told the government officials “ok,you can take me now.” He was so willing to die and was such a nice man. I was in tears when I read his biography!

But, I nevertheless do not think he was a prophet (although he was a VERY GREAT man. I am speaking of the Bab here btw, lol.)

Now back to mohammad… During his first meccan years, he was not all that bad of a person. he was an orphan and his mom was a widow, and if you read the quran in chronological order, one of the first teachings is about treating orphans good. And, he taught some pretty good teachings.

However, once khadija died… Ohhh my… Wow, he got crazy. In medina there was this tribe, and he personally cut off the hands of feet of 800 people and plucked their eyes out and had them die in the desert. Can you imagine? It is in ibn ishaqs biography if you want to read about it.

And then he enslaved women and children.

In the hadiths, there are MANY times when mohammad’s companions said “are you sure you want to do this?” mohammad had been so strict that his own companions had to settle him down! If you want hadiths on that, or if you want any evidence of what I am saying, just ask, and I will be more then happy to gather up some evidence.

There is no doubt that after the death of khadija and his uncle, he went crazy. Funny thing is even on death bed his uncle would not accept islam lol.

Does mohammad compare to Jesus? Not at all. Noo way. Jesus taught a great message of love, equality, etc. Whereas mohammad taught 7th century values, that do not allow any progressiveness.

Can you give me a cite for this? That’s pretty awful. Muhammad personally cut off the hands and feet and plucked the eyes from 800 people?!?!

No. That is not accurate. The story is that Muhammad personally beheaded the 600-900 male members of the Bani Qurayza Jews - making sure that all those who reached puberty were included.

Then he enslaved the women and children.

This is the prophet of Islam.

OK, you’re saying that Muhammad wielded the sword or axe that sliced the heads off of 600-900 men and boys, hundreds of them. Have I got it right?

The translation seems to suggest Muhammad personally beheaded those men.

Then they surrendered, and the apostle confined them in Medina in the quarter of d. al-Harith, a woman of B. al-Najjar. Then the apostle went out to the market of Medina (which is still its market today) and dug trenches in it. Then he sent for them and struck off their heads in those trenches as they were brought out to him in batches.

Myths & Facts About the Banu Qurayzah**

Mohd Elfie Nieshaem Juferi

The Christian missionaries have been making a lot of noise about the circumstances surrounding the Banu Qurayzah. It is a wonder that even after countless of explanations on the matter, they still want to play on this old, tired polemic. Regardless, it is about time that an answer is given to checkmate the nonsense surrounding the issue once and for all. Here, we shall attempt to address the myths about the Banu Qurayzah and establish the real facts, as follows.
  1. MYTH:
The Banu Qurayza are innocent victims who perished under the sword of Muhammad(P)

FACT:

Not true at all. On the contrary, the Banu Qurayzah prior to the incident of their so-called “massacre” attempted to betray the Muslims by openly aligning themselves with the Confederate armies (consisting of the pagan Quraysh and their allies) during the beseiging of the city of Madinah, known in history as the “War of the Confederates” (al-Harb al-Adzhaab). This is a significant act of treason, because they had earlier pledged to uphold the Madinan Covenent with the Muslims, which stipulates cooperation and an alliance if the Muslims in Madinah were attacked by a foreign force.
  1. MYTH:
The Prophet(P)ordered this punishment of the Banu Qurayza.

FACT:

Wrong. It was a Companion of the Prophet(P) by the name Saad ibn Muaz(R), an Ansar and the ally of the Banu Quraizah, who did that after the Banu Qurayzah leaders met with him and agreed to submit to whatever his judgement would be for their crimes against the Muslims.
  1. MYTH:
The “massacre” was ordered on Muhammad’s says-so. This is because Muhammad feared the Jews and recognised that they were a threat to his political dominance.

FACT:

The claim is of no substance apart from being a blasphemous lie. It is clear that Saad ibn Muaz(R) have administered the punishment in accordance with Jewish law as found in the Torah. The law is:

"When the Lord thy God hath delivered it unto thy hands, thou shalt smite every male therein with the edge of the sword: but the women, and the little ones and the cattle, and all that is in the city, even all the spoil thereof, shalt thou take unto thyself." (Deuteronomy 20:12)

It is therefore clear that Muslims are not to be blamed for administering a Law that is found within the Jewish scripture itself upon the Jews who had earlier agreed to submit to Saad ibn Muaz’s judgement.
  1. MYTH:
The Prophet (P) allowed this Law to be passed because he was inhuman and unmerciful.

FACT:

The reason why the Prophet (P) allowed judgement according to Jewish law was because the Banu Qurayzah were Jews, and in their initial agreement with the Prophet(P), they were allowed their own system of law according to the Torah. The Prophet(P) neither influenced the decision nor was he involved in any stage of the decision-making, as the representatives of Banu Qurayzah did not seek his judgement.

Hi
I agree with you.
Thanks

The great play on words ‘innocent’ victims. By saying that they broke a treaty, they’re guilty, and therefore you can slaughter them.

Note that this is collective responsibility; to kill or enslave an entire tribe.
