I’d start by putting any sport using the designated hitter rule in the “bad” pile . . . and the same for modern versions of traveling (“went less than fifty feet after holding the ball”) and goalkeeper steps (“well, he didn’t take more than three steps pat the penalty area before kicking the ball he stopped at the goal line” .
And as for the Mandalorian . . . all right thinking people accept that there are exactly three star wars movies, and that any other depictions of starwars are inherently sinful / . . (see how actually having seen the star wars chirstmas special the one time it was broadcast influences you?)
Actually, I find that the Mandalorian is the best written Star Wars material ever produced. George Lucas may have had a great eye for visuals, but his dialog was mostly at the level of a 3rd grade chapter book.
