While I utterly condemn contraception and especially abortifiacient Contraception myself,
and I am an orthodox Roman Catholic in full support of the Bishop of Rome, the teaching magisterium,
and all the church’s moral laws,
I do not understand why this fracas is about.
I do KNOW that Obama and Sabelius are, especially the leftist Feminist ALLEGED “Catholic,”
is doing this to spit in her church’s face. It is her way, I believe, of protesting the Feminists’s
biggest bugaboo about the Catholic Church: “The Patriarchy” which they constantly whine and holler about ((all the church’s problems are allegedly caused by the fact that the Church’s bishops and priests have male genitalia, you see. What VAPID reasoning.)) and constantly demand “WIMMIN” priests and more inclusive views on same-sex behavior in the bedroom. Uh huh.
Anyway, the insurance, which Sabelius intends to smack the church in the face by requiring their insurance companies to provide, covers the pill and abortifacient pills etc.
This is the Insurance Company’s perogative to provide these things, and many of them want to. They ALREADY provide things that the Church is opposed to in many cases, if we look into it enough.
ALLthe Church has to do, to fully absolve itself of guilt in the eyes of God over this matter, and to maintain it’s clean conscience in this matter, and avoid the evil Fines,
is to make a PUBLIC STATEMENT,
in ALL MAJOR NEWSPAPERS in the United States and in radio and tv commercials and internet pop-ups, is to make an official statement from the USCCB denouncing what the insurance companies will be providing under this Mandate, expressing our complete disapproval and condemnation of these provided services which the companies, not the church, are providing,
and to say: "We don’t approve of anyone using these items, even though the health insurance company will pay for them. We urge you not to use them regarless of your religion. Moreover, if you are a Catholic,
please be advised that your USE OF THEM, should you decide to do so, is in VIOLATION of the 2000 years long teaching of the Church and hence is a form of a Sin against the Light, a sin against the Holy Spirit, for the Holy Spirit inspired these teachings,
and you will thereby, by using them, be commiting a mortal sin, and according to perennial church teaching,
you MUST NOT receive Holy Communion unless and until you repent of this use and confess this Sin in the Sacrament of Reconciliation and Renounce it. Until then, do NOT approach the Altar, for to receive Christ in communion while in a state of Unrepented, Unconfessed Grave Sin would be the EVEN GRAVER Sin of Sacrilege and of Defiling the Body and Blood of the Lord, as Saint Paul clearly warned against in his letters."
That would be the end of this matter, as far as any guilty-complicity on the part of the
Church is concerned.
To get all bent out of shape about what the Worldly Insurance Companies are going to provide, and pay hundreds of millions in fines a day, which is totally unnecessary in THIS instance,
is the same as
getting all bent out of shape, and refusing to PAY YOUR CHURCH WORKERS,
because you know that they are going to **use that pay **to buy liquor, drink way too much of it (mortally sinful), buy TOO MANY lottery tickets (sinful waste and possibly mortal in SOME cases)
and buy cigarettes by the cartons and smoke 4 PACKS a day (excessive, and therefore gravely sinful too).
We don’t worry about THAT, we shouldn’t worry about THIS.
As long as the statement is made, and made clearly, that just because these “drugs” are provided in the insurance companies’ mandated list of services, does NOT grant Catholics the moral right to use them, nor signal the condoning by the church of their use, and that the Church warns all mankind not to offend God by availing themselves of the covered “medicines” which are immoral to use. And that’s that.
The church will have done her job. End of story, as far as church-guilt is concerned.
BUT. HOWEVER.
NOW.
THIS IS an attempt to force churches, unconstitutionally, to bow to the will of the Almighty, Socialist NANNY state. IT IS a violation of the First Amendment,
and grossly so. It is interfering in Church and church related affairs, which is out and out forbidden by the constitution. Congress cannot make such laws, neither can Church Traitors in politics, and neither can the president. This law is an ILLEGAL law.
THAT is unconscionable, and these people, ALL OF THEM WITHOUT EXCEPTION,
need to be VOTED OUT OF OFFICE and the HHS MANDATE utterly abolished.
Because if they can successfully pull of THIS intrusion without fierce legal resistance by the church, they will soon be trying to intrude in OTHER, much
more SERIOUS ways. For that reason, I strongly support the lawsuits that the Church, Priests for Life, the TMLC, our protest brethren at the Alliance Defense Fund, and others have filed, to STOP and OVERTURN this HHS Mandate.
But we need to be equally concerned with voting these godless Leftists, every last one of them without exception, out of Office in NOVEMBER this year, and I for one am daily invoking the ARCHANGEL MICHAEL to help obtain this outcome for the greater good of this nation, the moral fiber of which these “liberals” (the correct word for THIS stripe of Liberal, however, is NOT “liberal,” but “blasphemous INFIDEL”. Liberalism used to mean merely the GOOD Things, such as safety-nets and care for the poor, the sick, the unemployed, the hungry, victms of disasters, the elderly, widows and orphans, and racial minorities rights, all of which things are supported by both the Old Testament and the Teaching of Christ. This new brand of Liberalism uses THOSE things, those GOOD things, as a cloak to push a godless agenda of perversion, malice, legalized filthiest of pornography (in the name of “free speech”!!!), abortion and infanticide, and a host of all other Evils. No true Christian WOULD DARE TEMPT GOD by voting for these advocates of WICKED modern falsely-so-called “Liberalism.” It is not liberal, it is filthy and
fascistically intolerant of God’s truth. Vote them ALL out, and invoke the Archangel Michael’s help, every day, to do so. His power, coming from God almighty, cannot be successfully resisted, and he can stir up the 40 MILLION extra proFamily, proGod voters who WILL, once stirred to come to the polls, drive ALL these willful infidels from their public offices. At the Federal (Presidential, U.S. House and U.S. Senate levels and the judiciary), State (legislators, judges, prosecutors, etc) and Municipal/county levels.
There needs to be a thorough housecleaning in this country, and fast, or
I firmly believe that the Lord is going to rapidly visit upon us both The Great Chastisement and the Three Days of Darkness.
Let’s see anybody gripe about their “right” to vote for anybody they please, knowingly,
when THAT long-prophesied punishment comes raining down. And eventually, it WILL.
It has been promised over and over, for over 170 years, to Saints who lived generations apart and continents apart, and the messages ALL ARE IN AGREEMENT about what is going to happen. Note: IS going to happen. The only question is WHEN. IF our generation REPENTS, and prays fervently, we can stave it off so that it doesn’t fall on us and upon our children, for it is going to be terrifying, more than anything that God has ever done before. Do we want to be spared it by repenting? Or do our own thing and thus dare God to “bring it on” ??
