The Masons are like Boyscouts for Old Geezers and they have a lot of fun together.

Masons are quite evident and dominant in European politics:
…Masons are in fact present in every international organization in which decisions are made and in the multinational corporations that have an influence on economic and political power.
It is logical to think that they try to pass on their ideological principles – relativism, atheism, gnosticism – wherever they are and to irradiate them beyond their own context.
On the other hand, in the English-speaking world and in the northern countries, in Turkey, etc., it is not that they seek to gain power, they are the power.
Thus, for example, the sovereign of the United Kingdom is also the grand master of the United Grand Lodge of England, and of the more than 150 grand lodges – one for every country, and in the United States one for every state. In 1995, in the United Grand Lodge of England there were 750,000 members belonging to 8,000 lodges throughout the world.
Masonry, Atheism and Catholicism

Mexican martyrs of masonic persecution are still being beatified:
Q: Are they martyrs of the Cristero war of 1926-1929, or martyrs of the religious persecution which that conflict sparked? Is there a difference?
Father Orozco: A martyr is one who gives his life for confessing his faith. The circumstances of martyrdom are very varied.
Specifically, in Mexico, it was the lot of these people – who were priests, farmers and youths, like José Luis Sánchez del Río, killed at 14 – to live in circumstances that were particularly complex as were those that sparked the religious persecution.

I met some old guys today who were in their Mason garb, I thought they were Knights of the Columbus actually. They have a lot of fun. They have nifty vests with badges and patches for these roundups or get togethers. I asked them why the Catholic Church didn’t like them and one old guy told me that it was because they have some secret stuff for their club, like their little rituals and passwords, and they wouldn’t reveal their secret stuff to the priests long ago. They told me that that didn’t apply today and Catholics were in their club. They told me that there was nothing occult or anti-Church about their club.

They also informed me that the Mormon Church patterned many of their rituals and ceremonies after the Masons and that Joseph Smith was a Mason.

I sincerely can’t understand why there is this any problem with this group. It’s just a fun social club for old farts, it appears to me.
I do not believe this post for one minute. It is a ruse. The average freemason does not know why the CC objects to freemasonry so could not discuss it with you, In fact the average freemason is not even aware that CC objects to freemasonry. So your information is suspect.

I do not ascribe to freemasony but can see where it is useful and indeed have appealed to freemasons for help when it has been necessary.

My next door neighbour is a bit of a recluse and loner. Ok that is his choice. He is a very good man, pro-life, hurts no one and is kind to all. But he is also different. Whether this is due to a nervous breakdown he suffered a few years ago, his wife leaving him and dying of cancer etc is difficult to say. What is easy to say is how he is bullied by the family who lives next door to him. They have made his life a misery. They had put out all his windows with a golf ball in attempt to drive him away,

They have put excrement through his letter box, drained his sump of oil, damaged his car by keying, regularly dump their rubbish into his garden *. Ok so his garden is a bit of a mess, so what! That is no excuse to make it worse than it is.

I came home from work one day earlier this summer to hear a wimpering sound. I investigated and was cut to pieces to find my neighbour crying his heart out. The neighbours giving him such a hard time to force him to leave his home and in the process give them some of his land that is rightly his.

I spoke to our local council but they did not want to know. I spoke to the police but they did not want to know either.

So, I spoke to my brother [a freemason]. He is a businessman, quite tough in buisness but has a large soft heart. He was shocked to hear about my neighbour. so I signalled my brother to ‘set the wheels in motion’. He promised the guy causing all the pain could be ‘appropriately dealt with’.

Here just 4-months later it is his neighbour who is on the brink of a nervous breakdown. His family does not know what whirlwind has hit them. They do not know if their misfortune is due to accident, coincidence or deliberate design.

The guy is recovering nicely. I am proud to have played my part. I would do exactly the same again. Thanks be to God.

I hav no aspirations of being a freemason but do you remember that cult series a few years ago starring Edward Woodward in the Equaliser. I rather see freemasonry in those terms.*

I consider the title of this thread insulting to us old Catholic geezers. If you’re lucky, you, too, might get to be an old geezer someday.
you are back!!! :clapping: :clapping: :clapping: :clapping:

That said, there are a lot of Catholic and non-Catholic Christian men who have infiltrated freemasonry with a view to changing and dismantling from within.

There has already been enormous changes to the rituals whereby terms not acceptable to Christianity has been changed or omitted.

This has not passed unnoticed. A lot of the ‘old school’ of freemasonry are less than happy about these changes but are powerless to challenge or halt them.

Obviously those responsible for such change has had to occur pretty high up and well above the vast majority rank and file members.

It may take upto 50-years to dismantle the organisation as it was known as little as 10-years ago. But change it will and there is absolutely nothing the rank and file members can do about it. 🙂

Funny. :ehh: Lots of freemasons claim they’re doing the same thing at the Vatican. Shroud of Turin conspiracy theorists insist that a masonic cardinal fooled us into letting the Royal Society carbon date the shroud. :banghead: Reminds me of the incestuous cold war shenanigans of the British and Soviet spy agencies. :bigyikes: Methinks I really don’t want to know more about this. :crossrc: JP II pray for us!!!

It seems to me that the Church just has an old grudge against the Masons. There are a lot of things more evil in the world, like network TV, the Muslim threat, etc.

Try googling with these search terms:

“Rupert Murdoch” freemason
“Rupert Murdoch” pornography
“Muslim Brotherhood” mason

Seems the World Wide Web has a grudge against the Masons.

No doubt there is a lot going on on the world stage we best know nothing about.

I am convinced that when Mussolini restored the Papal States, he was ‘doing the work of God’. Sadly the Church of Christ has to deal with the real world as it is; not as it might be.

I am sure there are many strokes being pulled but one thing is certain: you have to get up early to catch out the Holy Spirit 😃

Owing to the unfortunate and unpredicted heart-attack and death of a Priest, whose attache case was returned to the Church upon his death and upon being opened, transpired that he was one of many priests who had entered Seminary with excellent credentials from distinguished Catholics who it transpired ‘did not exist’, but had been created in the Kremlin.

All the other Priests were named in the dossier. These were men who working for Communist Russia had infiltrated the Catholic Church with a view that some would rise through the ranks to become Cardinals with a view to dismantling the Church from within or influence policymaking in-line with Kremlin Communist wishes.

It is well known and one such Arch-Bishop in Europe was in the news recently, having confessed that he entered the Church that way, but had as a consequence become ‘converted to Christ’ and was not proud to serve the Church in the office he occupied.

Some conspiracy theorists argue that was the origin of some of the corruptions that we have witnessed such as ‘doing away with the pattern during communion’, ‘receiving in the hand’ etc etc to diminish respect for the Blessed Sacrament. I do not know if that is true but I have observed that those who receive on the tongue display a lot more reverance than anyone who receives in the hand. Just my observations.

But it is fair to say that while they may well have risen in rank, none have got to the office of Pope. JP bears testimony to that, since he single-handly dismantled Communist Russia and now we have a man of equal strength and commitment to tradition.

So, the Communists may have won odd battles but they lost the war!!! 😃

Just goes to show that you can take on the Holy Spirit if you wish, but there will be only one outcome…God’s will be done! We are as traditional as we ever were. Lo, even to the return to the Tradentine Mass 👍

Future infiltrators take note 😛
