Saint Paul says that church (mass) is not boring when you are functioning

1 cor. 14-26

Everyone has a psalm a revelation a teaching a song a tongue a interoperation

I have been to a few christian groups and churches where the ministry of the holy spirit is in evidence.

This also occurs when on a catholic pilgrimage. When people are focused .

When I have met people on Marian sites. They are much more involved

Where do you find people who function in this way?

Yes I was telling a catholic charasmet I pray with that she will be blessed by God when she is prayfullly edifying to the others. Because it can be easy to see if you R charasmetac. That the plans God has for people are to prosper with an expected good result.

There, St. Paul is speaking of the Corinthians and he condemns their vanity because they made a parade of their gift of tongues. That gift is a sign to unbelievers not to believers,

No, this is absolutely not true. The charismatic gifts are authentic movements of the Holy Spirit. The charismatic movement in the Church has been affirmed by St. John Paul II, HH Benedict XVI, HH Francis, Fr. Raniero Cantalamesa, preach to the papal household, Fr. Michael Scanlan, TOR (past president of Franciscan University of Steubenville), and I know of at least two bishops who are quite open about having been baptized in the Holy Spirit.

I am speaking of what St. Paul writes:

1 Cor. 14

20 Brothers, stop being childish in your thinking. In respect to evil be like infants, but in your thinking be mature. 21 It is written in the law:

“By people speaking strange tongues
and by the lips of foreigners
I will speak to this people,
and even so they will not listen to me,
says the Lord.”
22 Thus, tongues are a sign not for those who believe but for unbelievers, whereas prophecy is not for unbelievers but for those who believe.

Do you reject this teaching of St. Paul?

It is the Holy Spirit that guides the Catholic Church in truth. Mass is not boring to those who believe.
