Love me some Stephen King, but if you’re gonna do any story of his for a show, you can do a whole lot better than The Mist. Trailers failed to grab me, so I’ll pass.
Watched about 10 minutes of it before turning it off. Absolutely awful. In the first 5 minutes they have to shove a “gender fluid character” in your face, like some kind of sjw nightmare. Acting was awful and the plot had nothing to do with the original storyline. I get they have to have some filler to stretch it out, but it was boring and too teenie bopperish. I’m not the only one that hated it, critics didn’t like it either
Eh. I liked the movie from ten years ago. And stuck pretty close to the novel. The show is called The Mist but really only has one thing in common with the novel. The mist… It’s so far off based I feel like they probably could have gotten away with just not saying it’s based off a Stephen King novel honestly.
