Maybe this means nothing at all, but I’m not seeing:

“SFS”, nor “sfs”; what I’m seeing is “SFS”.
Maybe this is just a “girl thing”, but that is the traditional way for monogramming silver for engaged couples…I have some of my grandparents’ pieces. They are marked “EFM”…The “F” is the shared surname after the marriage. The “E” is her first name’s initial, the “M” is his…
If that’s a maker’s mark, or if its the name of a society, the initials are not going to be “SFS”; they’re more likely to be “S&SF”.

Oh, gosh, Severinus is right; this is just, too, too tempting…
I think I’m going to go http://bestsmileys.com/eyes/4.gifstare into my washing machine, & do http://bestsmileys.com/silly/14.gifwhatever the littlehttp://bestsmileys.com/talking/12.gif voices tell me to http://bestsmileys.com/mummy/1.gifdo

I removed the steering wheel from my car this morning. It was obviously a sun symbol, complete with a kind of cross thingy in the middle.

Do you know how hard it is to drive holding directly onto the steering column?

I guess the clock in the living room will have to go, too. 😦

oh Severinus! :rotfl:

Make a list … please, please, please.
You must get rid of these pagan solar representations and pagan symbols:

clocks
wristwatches
steering wheels
plates
tires
thermostats (just the round kind)
phillips head screws (have a cross on top of a sun symbol)
the letter O on your keyboard
eyes (the iris contains a sunburst image)
round sink drains and stoppers
asterisks
Sunny Delight
Pontiac Sunbird
doctors (use the pagan caduceus as their symbol)
tomato slices
hamburgers and their accursed buns (except for Wendy’s, which uses square, godly hamburgers)
Venus razors
Mercury automobiles
VULCAN-ized rubber
Mars Bars
Saturn automobiles
Pluto (Mickey Mouse’s pagan dog)
all dogs (DOG is inverted GOD)
Dodge Aries
virgins (virgo, the latin word, is a pagan astrological symbol)
same for fish, crabs, lions, etc.
$20,000 Pyramid

Ok. That should keep everyone busy for a while. 😃

severinus

must I give up one dollar bills as well? could we givethem to the church or not?

Hilde

That’s funny stuff.

Make sure you mothers don’t let your son sit on your lap or else you are imitating Isis and Horus 😛

Dear Severinus,

I was on my way to worship the really spectular washing machine, when I saw your list! It made it all clear! I’ve been worhiping false gods all along! I see the truth now! God isn’t in appliances, he’s in Chick Tracts! I’d read them all day long if I hadn’t plucked out my evil sunburst eyes! Thank you Severinus, I bet you’d be feeding the poor right now if feeding the poor wasn’t a useless Catholic invention to get to heaven! Bless you, Severinus!

I do think someone has way too much time on their hands with too many pagen symbols attached to the Catholic Faith, and Lord have Mercy… look at this comment below:

Do you think this is what Jesus had in mind at the Last Supper? No, when He “broke bread” He handed His disciples a torn fragment of unleavened bread, that symbolized His sinless broken body on the cross, but this is NOT what is conveyed with a pressed, round, intact and unbroken wafer that has been so commonly used.:hmmm:

They have No idea that the host “is made” from unleavened bread!!! and that it “IS” the body of christ.:amen:

Yes, dollar bills are filled with pagan symbols. Don’t give them to the sun-worshipping, Baal-honoring, sFs-imprinting church; send them to me. I’ll use them to spread the message! 👍

On second thought, the postal service is pagan too; they use the ancient eagle symbol of the pagan Romans.

Will PayPal do then?

The picture does not even have Greek or Hebrew letters in it. By his logic he could just as well say…

The picture has the letter S which kind of looks like a greek letter that has a numerology value of 6! What is more, the second letter, “F” we’ll call it, does not have a value of six. BUT it comes from a Hebrew origin of the letter Vau. This Vau was the sixth letter in the Hebrew alphabet! Furthermore, the Greek letter digamma is in reality, two gammas! They have a value of three! And as we all know, two multiplied by three is SIX! Yet there is more! This “Digamma” looks suspiciously like an F! And in the pagan world, F,O, and X all mean six. Therefore S,F,O, and X all have values of six.

FOX = 666
in
SOX = 666

DR. SEUSS IS THE ANTICHRIST!
Its funny cause thats how some people actually think.

PAYPAL!?!?!?!? Surely you do not need to be reminded of the origin of that name: PAPAL!

Mastercard is out; which ‘master’ are they talking about?

American Express cards have some sort of pagan guy right on them.

Visa is a Latin word that means ‘those things that are seen.’ This is a reference to gnostic beliefs.

Discover? Ha! DISC OVER = the disc of the sun over us all!

Coins are sun-shaped and bills have pagan trash all over them. I’m afraid we will just have to go back to a barter system to avoid engaging in or associating with pagan practices. :yup:

You know, I firmly believe in Occam’s Razor: Hypotheses should not be needlessly multiplied. It is clear that plenty of people with half an education and some strange obsessions do not. I saw one site which tried to make ‘666’ out of practically anything connected to Rome or the Church. It’s too bad much of their Latin was spelled incorrectly to make the numbers fit.

Maybe I’ll start a numerology thread to show examples of this kind of stuff. Might get some verrrrry interesting replies…

Paypal - Papal … ah ha ha ha ha!

====================

And who is the light of the world?
The Son of God.

This, my friends, is from the OFFICIAL SDA website:

I don’t know what to say. The huge, radiating disk of the sun is clearly above the almost imperceptible cross.
Why those sun-worshipping (sputter, sputter)pagans!! I’ll bet they have steering wheels in their cars, and automatic washers, too!!
(I all ready got rid of most of my idols. I just need to check about whether it is OK to use tomatoes, if we cut them into chunks?? Would they be appropriately godly food then, or should I cast them into the fire with all my dinner plates, clocks, and tires???)

I started a thread in the Water Cooler under the title of Numerology and Pagan Symbols. I hope to post there later some of the strangest uses of wacky thinking in this regard.

Sounds as if you’ve made good headway in ridding yourself of sun symbols. Soon we will all be walking everywhere, eating off table tops, handwashing our clothes, arriving late for appointments, using animal pelts for money, and sleeping during the day to avoid the sun. Modern civilization is overrated anyway. 😃

Severinus,

You’re on a roll dude 👍
This thread really got preposterous. I finally got back to looking at it again. You guys are treating this subject exactly the way it should have been treated. 👍

But I was curious, because there had to be a valid reason.
btw, is this the same Pax I see giving the NC’s fits over on FH?

If so, glad to see you on this forum.

Okay…cut the comedy routines… the man has a real question and needs help with it not excessive frivolity.

Michael Scheifler is indeed an anti-Catholic proponent of the SDA and his site is laden with bunkum like that.

They also teach that Michael the archangel is just another name for Jesus…talk about confused and wierd interps of scripture.

Get back on topic and stay there or I’ll have to close and pull this thread.

I’ll already have to go back and delete a bunch of these posts that are so funny and off topic.

Michael, it’s ok. I’m not complaining. At least I’m among fellow catholics, and not getting nailed on an N/C site. Those folks can get really mean. I think I did get an answer to my question.

Thanks
