The moral Teachings of the Catholic Church are rooted in the Bible and in Sacred Tradition, neither of which contradicts the other. I totally agree with this.
**But **some people will bring up things like slavery and announce, “It’s in the Bible so once you taught it was ok and now it’s not”. (Untrue but a bone of contention).
And other people will bring up things like Mary, the Assumption, praying to saints, and say, “It’s not in the Bible so it was never taught and so this proves the moral teachings of the Church are refuted by the Bible”.
So be prepared.
